Wang Kai knuckles were white, not because of the cold weather but because of how hard he tried to stop himself from fleeing there and pull them apart.

”Love, I wanted to learn how to love her in the right way.” Wang Kai's mind was taken aback by the conversation he had with father Guan. That day, he thought his future father-in-law will scold him for being such an asshole towards his daughter.

But he calmly tells him the story instead, the story of how he chases mother Guan for 7 years before they finally get together. When he was deep on his thought suddenly Xiao Ni has arrived in front of him.

”Give it to you.” Xiao Ni handed him the waffle she held with her right hand to him. Wang Kai stares at the waffle with strawberry topping on the top.

”Clearly know I only eat a waffle with maple syrup.” Wang Kai complains but takes the waffle anyway. Xiao Ni pretends that she heard nothing, look at Wang Kai with her smile eyes.

”Who told you to eat the strawberry, I order it because I've asked for extra strawberry but the seller is too stingy. The strawberry is for me to eat.” Xiao Ni without any permission sit beside Wang Kai.

Wang Kai's mood lifted up and smiles starts to appear on his face. ”Pig.” he teases her as he watches Xiao Ni take a big bite on her waffle.

Xiao Ni spares a death glare at Wang Kai as she chews her waffle. Her cheeks move in an exciting movement. Wang Kai chuckles and raised his hand to ruffles her head.

But his movement stops when Xavier who bring two waffle from across the road stop in front of Xiao Ni. Xiao Ni has a bright smile when Xavier appears.

Subconsciously, Wang Kai retracts his hand and watches them with an expressionless face. Xavier gives one of the waffles to Han Li and starts to talk something to Xiao Ni.

Wang Kai clearly speaks many languages, but suddenly he didn't understand what are they talking about? Precisely he can't even hear a word coming from Xavier and Xiao Ni.

But the images of how they laugh afterward were too painful to ignore. His hand curled into a fist. Han Li's heart was beating fast, he has a feeling that this Xavier handsome face won't last long.

That pretty face of him might turn into a face full of bruises in any second now. Wang Kai already has that look in his face and fist curled until his knuckles turn white.

Han Li close his eyes when he saw Wang Kai stand up suddenly. His tall and well build body were towering Xiao Ni and Xavier who is still laughing in their conversation.

'Damn it, Damn it, President Wang will offend this Xavier guy who had an underground force behind him.'

Han Li was ready to hear a cry from Xavier when he heard Wang Kai's voice instead.

”Xiao Ni, I still have work left. Han Li stay here with Xiao Ni.” He looks like he was in a hurry.

Xiao Ni furrow her eyebrow in concern, ”What happen?”

Wang Kai shook his head, indicating that nothing happens, he just happens to have workloads. ”Mr.Xavier, nice to meet you.”

Xiao Ni hasn't completely gather herself when she realized Wang Kai has left from her sight. Xiao Ni lower her eyes and silently eating her waffle.

The moods seem off afterward because Xiao Ni keeps spacing out.
