Chapter 107 - I don’t think we should continue our engagement (2/2)

Sensing that NiNi is still angry Wang Kai began his explanation.

”Song Yun and I met at Oxford, she get a scholarship.” Wang Kai starts his story, gently stares at NiNi as he continues.

”That day, we have party and somebody put something on my drink. I wake up next to her the next morning, naked.” Wang Kai wipes his face with both of his hand out of frustration. It was honestly one of the most thing he regret on his life.

NiNi face turns pale, as her heart clenched. She felt like a hundreds needle piercing her heart without any mercy. So it was true, he really sleep with her. She pressed her lips tightly, didn't make any sound. He already told her the worst parts, there is no need for her to avoiding it anymore.

”I didn't plan to make the relationship that serious, but that thing happens. So I bought her home and meet my parents. Not long after the trip she run away with other guy.” He said with a low voice, NiNi turns her head to Wang Kai immediately.

He got dumped? NiNi blink her eyes twice as she see Wang Kai's worn out expression. He felt sad for that guy, he was dumped by his first love. Her eyes turns watery as she suddenly stand up.

”Huaaa…. That bad witch! Who dare she dumped my brother? Don't worry I will avenge your pain!” NiNi said ready to declare a war with Song Yun. Wang Kai who saw that she was going to rage reach her hand instantly, prevent her to go.

”It's okay, I am actually happy she left me.” Wang Kai cheered. NiNi is angry for his sake, does that mean she still care about him?

He was going insane already these past few days without NiNi. Probably used to bicker and tease NiNi all the time, when suddenly she shut him off, he felt so empty. It's crazy how someone can affect your life to that extent.

He thought she didn't want to see him again, starts to avoid him like she did at high school. Hanging out with Yan Xi, didn't even want to be on the same place with him. It breaking his heart more than when Song Yun dumped him.

”…” NiNi forget this man is heartless. He even feels happy after being dumped. NiNi sit on the sofa again, now that she was already comfortable her hand reach for the tea cup.

”I don't know she was pregnant that time, I also didn't expect my mom to do that just to drive her out. I'm sorry that I shout on you that night, I don't want you to commit a sin for my past.” Wang Kai said whole-heartedly.

NiNi froze when she heard Wang Kai apologize. Yeah, that time she left because he shout on her, because of that girl. He knew she hated it when people shout to her but he did it anyway. Biting her lips, she slowly put the cup on the table again.

”It's okay. Forget about it, I actually also have something to discussed with you.” NiNi said with serious expression, her whole body was stiff but she was trembling inside. She felt like her blood was boiling on her veins but she felt extremely cold.

Wang Kai on the other hand just nods and give her the time to speak.

NiNi smile turns shaky as she repeatedly swallowing, lowering her gaze.

”I don't think we should continue our engagement.” Her voice was soft, but it was enough to provoke Wang Kai's bottom lines.
