Chapter 103 - Like She Knew Nothing (1/2)

NiNi still have to work the next day. She felt horrible when she woke up. The moment she open her eyes, her head hurts so bad like she was hit by a car. Massaging her head with her own fingertips, she slowly sits on the bed.

The rims on her eyes flared up as she gathers her soul. When she remember Song Yun and Wang Kai images from last night, she stand up immediately. She didn't want to deal with those problems now as she still have works to do.

She casually tie her hair with a bun, walk to the bathroom to take a quick shower. After freshen up she felt a lot better. Wearing a green army casual T-shirt and a blue denim she walked out from her bedroom to the dining room.

There are only her mom on the dining table, spreading strawberry jams on the bread. Her mother still wearing a her night ware with no make-up on her face. NiNi look at the clock on the wall, it was still 5 in the morning, her mother must wake up because she knew she have a shoot today.

As NiNi walk closer to the dining room, she felt warmth fills her whole heart. Last night she felt like worthless and useless, but this morning she felt like her life is actually not really bad. She got her family on her side.

If she follows her mood, NiNi will probably frowning and complaining to her mother right away. But she felt like it was not fair. She is sad because of a man but venting it on her mom. It will make her mom worry a whole days, it's not fair. So she put a smile and happy face.

”Aiya, I'm so touched big madam Guan is waking up in the morning for this little servant.” NiNi wipe her fake tears, sitting happily on the table. Mother Guan make a sneer face at NiNi before placing the bread on her plate.

”You-a, never eat breakfast before go to work. How do you live those 3 years without your mother, no wonder to turn like papers.” Mother Guan show her dissatisfied face as her delicate soft hand pinch NiNi's ear.

”Wa, mom this is why I don't want to live here anymore.” NiNi pull her ear away from her mother's tweak, as her hand pick up the bread to eat. She slowly observe her mom face, looks like her mom haven't found out about last night matter.

Stealing another glance at her mother, NiNi was in dilemma. Her mother will find out anyway, should she just tell her now? Mother Guan feels that NiNi keep stealing glance at her, so she directly ask her, ”What?”

NiNi was shocked by her mother sudden confrontation, she take a glass to drink so water. Patting her back with care mother Guan starts to whine again. ”Ckckck, look at you still acting like a child.”

Frowning when she heard mother Guan words, NiNi place the glass back to the table before blaming her mother.

”Mom, it because you startled me.” She said unhappily, taking another bite of her bread.

”What do you want to ask?” Mother Guan ignores NiNi's and go straight to the problem. Leaning on the chair as she closed her eyes. NiNi take a big hard gulp before stares at her mother sleepy face.

”Mom, what will you do if father suddenly have another child from another woman?” After spilling her question, NiNi regret it immediately. It was such a heavy topic for morning talk. Father Guan has spoils her mother to rotten, they flaunt their love every day. Her mother won't have that kind of thought as father Guan love her so much.

”Choi Choi Choi, what are you talking about in the morning?” Mother Guan wakes up that instant, sitting with a straight back. NiNi laugh when she saw her mother panic face. Frowning to her silly daughter, Mother Guan answer it anyway.

”Well, if that really happen then I will ask your father first. Who did he love, if he choose me then we will talk about it and get through it together. But if he was hesitance then I will let him go.... after i chop his little buddy...” Mother Guan said simply, watching that NiNi has finished her breakfast. Then her gaze move to NiNi's bright face.

”Mom I never knew you are these wise.” With a cheek full of bread, NiNi give two thumbs up for her mom. Flapping her hair, mother Guan smile arrogantly.

”Of course, it's a shame that my daughter is really silly.”

After her small conversation with her mom, NiNi appear more peaceful than before. She still professionally acting likes a professional on the set, but she spaces out several times when they were on a break.

”NiNi, what do you think about this line? Should we create a sad atmosphere more?” Yun Zhe said, still focusing his attention on the script while he asks NiNi. Looking up to search for NiNi's face, he found that she has space out again today.

”NiNi?” he tried again, blinking a few times.

”Guan Xiao Ni?” he touch her shoulder, make NiNi slightly jump as she turn her head to Yun Zhe.

”Sorry what?” she ask with sorry face, she has been ignoring Yun Zhe the moment he talk to her. She scold herself for being so distracted.
