”Xiao Ni, hear me out first.” Wang Kai said, try to hold her hand again. NiNi brush his hand off, taking a step back as she firmly said ”Don't touch me.”
Frowning at NiNi's aggressive move, Wang Kai decided not to provoke NiNi again. He hates it when people oppose him, against him. However this is NiNi he was facing.
”Alright I won't touch you, can we talk now?” He asked, swallowing his anger. He hate it the most when NiNi look at him resentfully. He hated it at the past and still hates it now. He felt like he wanted to turn the world upside down when she looks at him that way.
”I don't want to talk about it now.” NiNi said. She had to admit that she was a coward. She didn't dare to bring herself hearing the truth, knowing that it would hurt her more. The old stitches on her heart reopen one by one as he tears her down.
She had loved and love him for many years that she couldn't even remember when did she start to like him. Even after whole years of building defense to protect her heart, her heart still broke when she know that he actually date a girl.
He even slept with that girl, the woman he must have love that he willing to spend his first night with her.
They even have a child together.
Then what happen to their engagement?
What will happen to their future?
She hate herself for imaging their wedding when he said that he wanted to marry her.
She hate herself for being so easy with him.
She hate that she knew he will never love her the same.
She was scared, scared that this sweet dream she just dream will taken away from her. She almost believe that he love her and even want to marry her. Everything she always wanted was going to came true.
Yet she must face the reality this fast. The image of Wang Kai, that woman and their son face haunted NiNi mind. It's like they are mocking her for being a disturbers in their happy little family.
Everything was blurry for NiNi. She really didn't know what to do, at least now. She didn't want to hear his story, she didn't want to pierce her own heart. Yes she was selfish. She wanted the fairytale. So when he force her to wake up from her sweet dreams, she refused.
”Be good, listen to me. Song Yun and I is indeed…” Those first sentence was enough to make NiNi mind goes crazy. She knew that what Song Yun has told her was most likely the truth, but hear it straight from Wang Kai mouth broke her into pieces.
”STOP! I SAID I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!” She shouted, covering her both ear with her hand. Should have know this relationship won't work, should have known that Wang Kai is a jerk. Should have know that he will easily fall in love with another woman while she was waiting for him like a fool.
