Chapter 22 - The So Called Ex-Fiancee (1/2)

”Why don't you join us? we haven't start eating.” Guo Han smile politely inviting both Wang Kai and NiNi. Wang Kai can catch the persistence in his voice.

NiNi pout his mouth silently refusing, but she respect Wang Kai decision. She won't be paying anyway so she should follow her benefactor.

”It's okay, I have the VIP reserved already.” Wang Kai refusing politely then they walk away.

Silently, Wang Kai observing Xiao Ni attitude toward Guo Han. He can smells strong resentment from Xiao Ni gestures toward that guy. But since he just got back one year ago he didn't really know what happen between them.

Xiao Ni frowning all the way to the VIP table. Her mood only got better when she order 6 foods for herself. Looking away from the menu she happily look at Wang Kai. Although his mouth was tightly closed, those deep eyes show a big curiosity.

NiNi roll her eyes then decide to tell him the story between her and her so called ex-fiancée.

”When you are away, that moron set me up so I become his fiancée.” NiNi said as she began to feel regret no bringing her gummies with her.

”Fiancée ?” Wang Kai deep voice was cold but he said nothing. His eyes keep following NiNi's every little movement. He was suggesting NiNi to continue her story.

”Yeah I was in a rush to performing. It was my first performance, naturally I was very nervous. That idiot blocking my way to the stage! He keep nagging me to be his fiancée.” Terror overtook her face as she talk.

”You know how many man lines up to court me right? I was the favorite future daughter-in-law candidates among those aunties. But he used the lowest trick to tick me, damn it!” fire took over her eyes as she felt the anger at the moment.

Wang Kai mouth twitched. This level of narcissism…

”Anyway because I was nervous I didn't even hear what he was asking, I answer yes nonchalantly. Then in the evening he come to my house saying he want to propose me in 3 days! Luckily Xian-ge was home that time, he quickly settle the problem for me.”

Wang Kai nod, praising his best friend in silently as he listens carefully.

”Xian-ge calls me for confirmation, the I tell him the whole story. Then Xian-ge tell that Guo Han that I was too small and he left. However, he told all of his friend that I agree to be his bride!” NiNi was pissed when she recall the memory. She took the mineral water infront of her and drinks it in one gulp.

Wang Kai nod, now he understands. He keeps his cool and calm demeanor as his long finger tapping on the glass table.

He want to make that Guo Han life miserable. How dare he steal her little girl when he was away. But knowing Gui Xian had settle the mess, he rest assured.

”Father almost believe Guo Han and agree! Luckily I have my lovely brother.” she said as she drink again. His nose wrinkles when she imagine Guo Han become his fiancée.

”But now even your brother can't save you.” He said, showing his mesmerizing half smile.

”Why are you so sure, he won't let you easily. He loves me the most.” NiNi lift her lips as she look down on Wang Kai.

”But I pity Han-ge. My brothers make all of his company tender terminate their contract for one month.” NiNi said as she feel slightly scared of her brother.

”Only one month?” Wang Kai said as it was normal.

NiNi was speechless. No wonder they are best friend. Both of them can be a cold blooded murder for sure.

No doubt why they manage to make the company grow very rapidly and stood in the top of the chain.

Secretly she was thankful that both of the cruel man dote her. She can't imagine what would happen if she provoke them.

I'm so lucky Xian-Ge and this demon treat me really well.

Of course, in Gui Xian eyes his baby sister is his priority. At least for now.

”Yeah, elder Guo come to talk things with father. Then brother decide to let it go.”

Then the NiNi hear the door was open by someone.
