CHAPTER 4

Stein Royal College, Part 1

“Ayi, shushu, although I don’t want to trouble you, but young master Han may want me to have a different identity in school… .”

“Needless to say, this matter is decided, and he doesn’t get what he wants.” Han Liuhai stares at Han Qilu as he gets up and dons the suit jacket the maid hands him.

“Starting today, you’ll be sharing the same car to and from school. Let me find out you’re not good to her… I’ll freeze all your credit cards!” Jiang Yuan threatens Qilu before standing up and helping Liuhai secure his tie.

“I… .” Is this a trick? Han Qilu is silent for a long time before capitulating. He fiercely stares down An Chuxia as she leaves before him.

An Chuxia internally groans. Both she and Qilu did nothing but begrudge their fate. Why is one destined to lose something in order to gain something?

It seems she has to have no dignity to attend Stein. Is fulfilling her mother’s wish worth it?

“How long will you stand there? The young master does not want his credit cards frozen!” Han Qilu’s voice fills the hall. An Chuxia bites her inner cheek to suppress her answer. She knows if it’s not for her mother, she won’t do it!

“Shushu, ayi, I’ll be heading to school.” She bows to them before leaving.

As she sits in the extended Bentley, she realizes the high life is beyond lavish.

“When we’re in school, don’t say you know me,” Han Qilu instructs.

Pretend not to know him, of course. She hoped as much. Her lips slide to a smile and she agrees. “Okay.”

Her obedient response leaves him afflicted. Then he promptly adds, “If you see me, address me as ‘Master Qilu’. Understand?”

Steward Han, who happens to be stoically sitting in the driver’s seat, coughs loudly upon hearing the order. “Master, I was sent by the wife to protect Miss An.”

The implication is, he is to monitor Han Qilu’s behavior.

“I won’t strangle this stranger!” Han Qilu rolls his eyes impatiently before reiterating: “You must call me young master!”
