At the meantime, everyone had their shares of getting which gems they wanted to socket on their armours since they have a total of 24 sockets each, even for Stef too. She took the initiative to take each gem and socket them differently.
Stef took 10 rubies, 4 emeralds and 10 sapphires and this gave her +80 Fire Damage, +160% Resistance to Fire Attacks, +170 to Max HP, +50 Cold Damage, +160% Resistance to Cold Attacks, +170 to her Mana, +100 Poison Damage, +80% to Resist Poison Attacks and +20 to Dexterity.
Both Matilda and Jean Lethal took 10 Rubies, 10 Emeralds and 4 Sapphires each to boost +80 Fire Damage, +160% Resistance to Fire Attacks, +170 Max HP, +200 Poison Damage, +160% Resistance to Poison, +40 Dexterity, +20 Cold Damage, 64% Resistance to Cold Attacks and +68 on Mana.
Since Stef lacked the set of skills for the Poison attacks, she chose to buy tomes and learn them by herself. A basic level of understanding would be sufficient since the Diamonds they intend to socket would be on the shield badge itself.
I went to the drapery in Byram and have the person produce a dozen of these coat of arms and hurried back when it was done. It was an embroidered patch with a push pin behind it and it was ready within the hour.
I excused myself and I went to the Realm of Mind and went to the Fusion Chamber. I place 10 pieces of Refined Steel plates and an embroidered patch on the slot. I choose the slider to CRAFT / MULTIPLY / ARMOUR, closed the door and pulled the lever.
*DING* Craft Complete. 360 nos of Epic Class 5 socket Steel Shield attained.
”Thank GOD...!!! It was a success. 1 piece if Refined Steel could produce 3 dozen of Epic Class Steel Shields with 5 sockets of this size and it won't be long to make the rest of them for the upcoming NVA also known as New Vagabond Army.”
”With 5 sockets, we could insert in the Diamonds and we could see the result soon...!” I muttered to myself as I logged off my meditative and heads back to the group from the hearth where I was meditating from.
”Here you go guys, I've purchased a dozen of these embroidered coats of arms and turned 360 pieces into mini steel shield badges. Here, each one takes one and insert the diamond sockets already.” I exclaimed excitedly as I passed the steel shield badges to the three of them and they immediately inserted the diamonds into the 5 sockets.
Now the 3 of them had an additional +170 All Damage, +40 All Resistance Attacks, +200 on Attack Ratings after pinning their shield badges on their clothes that were not covered with the mesh steel studded leather armour.
”Wow, Boss...!!! This gems really proved to be very useful indeed...it turns our stats to be doubled from what we had before without weapons and armour. Now we are as formidable as those pay2win adventurers...!”
”I can feel it's power surfing within me the moment I had inserted all the sockets kn my armour and pinned this shield badge over ny chest. Silly boy, why didn't you have some for yourself?”
