I explained to Hiko-sama and he laughed and find that it was a rather auspicious date since Miroku the Hoshi had mentioned it. I also informed him that a letter would be sent to Tokugawa Iemochi of the good news and hope he would be able to find time to celebrate the joyous occasion with us.
I met with Izumi later in in the day when she was free and informed her of the event and she was overjoyed and she embraced me tightly in public and saying that it was the best piece of news she had received in her life.
”Oh Himura, I don't care about the wealth and richness in this whole world. You are the one that brought me hope and joy and you are the one that I wanted to spend my whole life with.”
”Izumi, if you had never entered my life, I would still find myself adrift in this world and I would like to spend my whole life with you too.”

Izumi held my hand and places over her tummy and I can feel its churning and growling... In hunger, because it is almost lunchtime already. Hahahahah. I wonder what the 'aunties' were preparing for lunch as I had given them the recipe for the 'Saroendeng Dutch Style' garnishing with beef. It's sure going to be yummy with steamed rice and all...
”Let's head for lunch together, we would call our friends along too since we would be getting married as 3 couples soon. Hahahaha... It is hilarious...”
I pulled Izumi's hands as we walked to the employees' meal place and waited for the rest of the 2 couples and Hiko-sama to join us. As expected, the 'aunties' had prepared the 'Saroendeng' and soon the 7 of us were having white steamed rice with the 'Beef Saroendeng' and a light coconut-based milk vegetables with boiled egg, fried tofu, fried soybean cake, cabbage, string beans and glass noddle known as 'tang hoon' that looked like vermicelli noodle, but much lighter in texture and won't make you full.
It was a simple dish but yet the 'Beef Saroendeng' seems to complete everything with a dollop of XO Sauce at the side. Hehehehe... Don't forget the XO Sauce wherever we go, you know... Hahahhaha.
