269 6.63 New Project Commences On The 15 New Warehouse. (2/2)

”Observe the measurements and this time, I had used extra screwpine extract and a bit of green food colouring. The rest remained the same.”

Then I moved to the third double boiler and this time, there was no different from the 1st measurement inside the double boiler.

”Observe how I had used palm sugar instead of white sugar. The measurements remain the same.”

”Before the end of the shift, the team has to make these 2 hours before the handover duties so that it would be cooled off beforehand. This measurement would be for three 300 ml bottles. How many eggs would I need if I want to produce 500 bottles per shift?”

As usual, Izumi and Hanna made a quick calculation and came up with 1670 eggs or 55and 20 eggs. Eko announced that 83.5 litres of 1st and 2nd squeeze of coconut milk based on 200 ml of water per 500 grams of grated coconut.

”Don't throw away the grated coconut after it had been squeezed. It can be turned into a garnishing with spices and meat.” I reminded them.

”This can be turned into food? What types of food could it be turned to?” Asked Riko who is always curious about things and how we could make use of recycled products for our own use.

”Ahhh...if you all want to know...thisnis one if the Dutchman favourite food. it could be eaten with onigiri or rice toppings. I will explain it to you but I think this could be marketed as well. We need another 3 more warehouses for this. Hahahaha.”

We moved on to the last 3 warehouses and everyone had kept their sketch pad in order because the plant supervisors and plant managers would be assisting in the initial setup and no mistakes would be tolerable. By then, all the girls' fingernails were adorned with colourful hues of the rainbow. Hahaha.

”This is the final phase. It would be used to make the XO Saice...these are the ingredients that are being proportioned to make at least 1 cauldron. This warehouse had a removable rooftop by operating these systems here to slide the roofs down.”

”Even the warehouses' sides have slid down windows because of the scent of these XO Sauce would be too overpowering or OP in our terms. Hahaha.”

”Take note of the ingredients used per cauldron. It has been marked clearly with its measurements and now I'm doing to show you how it was done. Fire up the firewood and coal please and point on half of the cooking oil first.”

I then proceeded to pour in the ingredients and slowly stir the contents until the scent of the chilli made some of the girls sneeze. Even Hiko-sama's eyes started to water but he knew sacrifices has to be made to savour this wonderful XO Sauce...!!!

After an hour, I told the girls to load in another batch of coal and this would be it. ”We need to constantly stir this so it won't burn the bottom and create a crust and become wasteful.”

It was almost midnight when the XO Sauce was ready, as Hiko-sama helped ne to carry the cauldron to an empty rocket stove. The XO Sauce was ready and was quite thick even with a layer of oil on top.

”Remember when you pack into the bottles, always leave a layer of oil on top. This would be like a layer of preservatives, understood?”

I reminded everyone and everyone nodded but their eyes were transfixed at the XO Sauce. I use the ladle and smothered it with the sauce and I asked for a piece of bread from Hiko-sama and I slowly swiped the ladle of some XO Sauce on the bread, folded it into two and began to bite into it.

”WOOOOWWWW...!!” I hollered and it surprised everyone and I asked them to take a small rice bowl and have someone to make some scrambled egg since we still have the fire going on in the rocket stove.

Eko ran back and grabbed some eggs and a saucepan and immediately cracked the eggs there and then. She made the scrambled egg and we all proceeded to bring the saucepan filled with scrambled egg and the small bowl of XO Sauce outside.

Soon...everyone was tucking in a simple supper of scrambled eggs with bread and a layer of XO Sauce in between like spread. There were only the sounds of Nom...Nom...Nom...Nom...and nothing else and all their faces expressed satisfaction over a simple supper made a perfect complete with the XO Sauce.

Even Shu Uemura who was known for her noble demeanour was savagely taken away by the exquisite taste of the XO Sauce as she worked down 3 pieces of bread and was complimenting on the spiciness, the sweetness, the right saltiness and everything seems perfect for her.

And of course, she offered 1 gold coin for the Srikaya and the XO Sauce for 500 bottles each as well as the nail polish at 1 gold each and 100 bottles per colour.

That's how well we concluded the business for the 4 products that we had produced in our trial. The finale was gastronomical and I said there's another one to be made but haven't decided on how to market it yet.
