262 6.56 Monthly Reports From All Prefecture (2/2)

”The reports were all in the business conference building... We could go there in a short while. Let's visit some more houses and see what they had prepared for their own meals. Just a little bit here and there also is better than nothing. Hahahaha.”

”Hii... Hii... Hii... Making these makes us closer to our employees too.” as Izumi wrapped her arms around mine and we walked through the grounds.

The 6 Mechs were having the time of their lives too. They didn't know that Japanese people are so hospitable and they could raid people's house of their food... Hahahaha. Just joking. In fact, it's an open house concept. Even if you don't know one another, this fiesta brings people closer. Everyone is welcome to share their food and drinks.

When the 6 Mechs saw us, they approached us and invited us in. Blueprints of sorts were taped to their walls and it seems that its a reminder of constantly upgrading and improvised their machines.

”Boss, when would the warehouses be ready? We are itching to set up the Windtech and can't wait to supply these New Kitakata Town with lights...”

”Next week, my friends. It would take about 3-4 days for the 15 warehouses to be built. By the way, can I ask a small favour from you?”

”Sure, Boss... What is it? Anything we could help, we would sure render our assistance. Being paid to do nothing makes us lazier and with the free slowing food and drinks we would become fat in no time. Hahahaha.”

”It is this... I need you to draft a letter to those whom you knew and tell them of your wellbeing here. At least they knew that the Japanese were treating you well and you are employed under Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha with 10 gold coins per month that would be equivalent to three times of your current salary.”

”Secondly, I would require 2 Mechs per each shift from 7 am to 3 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm to 7 am. You would be required to report 30 minutes before the start of each shift to be briefed on the last shift on what they were performing so you would do the necessary followup.”

”You would each be assigned to 45 male and 45 female workers per shift and they would be helping you to perform assemblies as well as the erection of the structures outdoors.”

”Would there be any questions?”

”So we choose our own buddies, and we have 90 workers at our disposal for the production of Windtech plus installation outdoors. Splendid idea, Boss...! We were thinking that we were the only ones who would be producing those Windtech.”

”You will keep on producing these Windtech for the distribution outside New Kitakata Town and you would either delegate 6 employees to be the plant supervisors and assistant, once you are required to perform outdoor maintenance. Otherwise, you could delegate those people to do it. There would be incentives and overtime pay on top of what you're doing indoors and outdoors.”

”That's great, Boss... We can't wait to get started then. Update on the warehouses once they are ready then.”

”Alright... I'm pulling an allnighter at the business conference building in case you need to see me for something. Enjoy yourselves these 3 days and 2 night here... Its open house and free-flowing food and drinks from your friendly neighbours.”

I waved at them and soon Izumi and I were walking hand in hand towards the business conference building where there were some guests staying at the top. There were about 20 new merchants and they had come here to look at the merchandise and also to participate in the town's fiesta.

I sat at the table in one of the empty conference halls where the piles of reports were sitting there, ready for me to review and state my suggestions and remarks. Izumi turned to the pages marked statistics before and now and set it all up in that manner. I won't be able to know which report I had read unless I closed the book and saw the name of the mayor and the municipality.

I checked my pocket watch around my neck and it showed slightly after 9 pm and here it goes, Hitokiri with the reed pen as he noted and circled out the irregularities on the report statuses.
