175 5.64 Three Deliveries And Fasuto Japan Has Made A Brutal Killing (1/2)

We dismissed the girls after we had finalised their names, their shift, working hours and salary and benefits. I told them they would be informed when the work commences by the girls who are currently working with us.

The tailor was happy at getting the business from us and I added that I need 3 long banners in which I would use a bamboo pole to hang them and it should measure about 3 meters by 1 meter with a stitched slot to insert the bamboo pole in. Red coloured backing with yellow lettering. She said she would take of it and Deliver all of the vests in a week's time or faster and excused herself.

Mesen-san saw the events unfold before his eyes as I casually briefed before a crowd and had everything under control. Soon he too excused himself and went back to his shop to perform more work on the production of the machine and at the same time produces the parts needed and places them in the crates.

Mesen-san had to approach the main supplier for these parts and orders them one hundredfold for the components and have it ready for next week delivery to Fasuto Japan KabushikiGaisha and to provide the receipts so he could send it to the Young Master as soon as he had placed the orders at the fabrication factory.

He returned to us and showed the list of KDC and informed that he did not fabricate the items but he had got it from a fab factory instead which actually speed up the process. I sternly told him not to fabricate stories in the future as I would like to know the facts and not the twisted myths.

He said he was sorry and promised not to fabricate any stories in the future and since he would be under our supervision, he can't escape anywhere. Just like a leash on a goats neck tethered to a stake on the ground... Bleeettt...bblleeettt...

I checked with the storekeeper and they had already packed the items accordingly to the order list for Yonezawa Town. And the items had already been loaded onto the wagons and would need the same amount of horses tomorrow to haul the wagons.

I checked the list and confirmed that it tallies with mine and the crates had already been loaded and covered with a sheet.

+-==The following morning==-+

After spending some time in the Realm of Mind the night before after supper, we managed to produce another 2,000 moulding set of 20,000 Refined Iron plates. After having breakfast we sat at the garden with our weapons at our obi as we waited for the 4 ambassadors to arrive with the 6 horses thy loaned from the stable boys.

The horses that the delivery boys had loaned arrived and had been harnessed to the wagons and awaiting the orders to move out.

Once everything is ready, the ambassadors cheered ”PROGRESS!” and lead the way while we followed behind the convoy and once we cleared the gates again, Hiko-sama and I took the lead and 2 ambassadors took the flanks and 2 took the rear guard.

When we reached Yonezawa Town, we repeated the whole process as we did at Aizuwakamatsu and collected all the monies from the cosmetics and the blacksmiths and did a live demonstration of Seijuro Tumbler Machine and told the sales lady to send in the report of orders tomorrow morning to Kitakata. Hiko-sama and I then made a deposit of 81,000 at the treasury to change for slip receipt under our corporation name. I let Hiko-sama hold on to the 600 gold coins I intended for the float cash.

We went back to Kitakata just after lunch and Hiko-sama made the deposit at the treasury. A guard approached me saying that a note had come from Aizuwakamatsu before lunchtime and it simply noted STM 369 orders.

I noted it on the sketchpad of the said numbers and sat down while waiting for Hiko-sama to return with the 4 ambassadors and had lunch with them.

I told them that Aizuwakamatsu had ordered 369 STM on the first day of orders yesterday and everyone was filled with joy! Even the profit margin is very minimal, but it helps to push the other products as well, especially the Kurin Detergent. I wrote a note to be sent to the mesen-san by messenger and simply wrote Kitakata 110 Aizuwakamatsu 369 STM.

After lunch I went to the constructions of the 3 warehouses, the quad outhouses with that were placed on the extremely end away from the 'canteen' and saw that the 30 men had completed the foundation and were halfway through the skeletal of the warehouses' structure.

The 2 new cooks were there and its a big help for the initial cooks to prepare food for an additional 30 workers. The outdoor clean and dirty kitchen had expanded by another table to accommodate the preparation as well as another table for the rocket stoves. This time, there were 6 rocket stoves altogether.

I saw a group of young children arriving and each was carrying an armful of firewood, branches and twigs and handed them to the cooks and they were rewarded with snacks. I called the children to wait and I took a few saplings and made twines.

I explain that the children don't have to carry the wood in their hands but instead could carry like this. I showed them how to use two sticks acting as a handle and I placed twigs, branches and sticks in the middle and lifted the sticks that had been entwined and carry them.

I said they could even carry them across their shoulders as I picked the smallest child and I told him to carry it on his shoulders and he happily said its much easier and could send more woods over this way.

The cooks saw what I had done and talked among themselves that even a simple contraption can be made easy for their lives. The cooks thought that I was going to reprimand the children and the cooks for giving away food and receiving without my acknowledgement but instead it was the opposite.

”This young lord is different from our Mayor, he showed compassion and concern for the welfare of others and anyone who marries him would be most beneficial. He is so young and yet very brainy and his views were way out of reach compared to the scholars here.

Little did they knew that the body I occupied was from a settlement 3 days walk from here and I was in much more poorer condition than the residents of the outermost District.

I checked to the rest of the production line and when I reached there, someone shouted ”ROOM!” and the girls stood up, bowed and greeted, ”Good afternoon, Senpai” and went back to their tasks. Very disciplined like the army when an officer enters the barracks and was greeted. I pulled Izumi aside and asked her how were the girls doing and she replied that everyone is working great.

We walked to the other line and Riko was there and she came to me and gave me an embrace, while I embraced her with one arm. Riko said that she was thankful that she became a line assistant and had been helping the girls out as much as possible to complete the tasks before heading back.

She also said the meals now are much better with the provision of the 4 'aunties' and every day for lunch and dinner is not the same dishes and they have a variety of snacks to choose for their tea breaks.

I felt awkward when Riko came up and embraced me even though she is a year older than me. I still saw the gold and silver coin on her neck.and it seems that it is her good luck charm.

We talked for a while and I exchange feedbacks with the line workers and so far they enjoyed working here. One even asked that there would be more workers coming in to join the family. I answered positively and explained that even this existing production would be increased just like the others.

I explained that we need to expand in order to provide others with stable employment so that they would be able to save up and survive on their own. I said if the Mayor does not provide employment, who would have? At least working here provides security and a steady income.

The girls asked about the buildings next door and I told them that each new warehouse is also a production line within.

”Right now the 2nd shift is made up of 12 girls right, excluding the leaders and assistant. Very soon, it would be 36 girls per shift. There would be another 2 new products and it would be a shared warehouse small scale of 4 girls per shift. There were excited that they would be moving into a new warehouse to work in and soon be having more friends and families joining in.

I soon left the warehouse and saw that the storekeeper had already prepared the wagons for the deliveries tomorrow and I checked with my list and everything checked out fine with their list of outgoing stock movement.

The stock level in the warehouse is getting low now and in 2 weeks with the increased manpower, the output would be tripled. And by that time we would be able to look at other towns to supply as well. At least, we could slowly expand the corporation into a FULL BLOWN EMPIRE!

I checked with Hiko-sama if he wanted to talk a walk with me yo the cosmetics and ask the lady boss how was the sales. He agreed and we walked to the trading district.

Once we reached there, the lady boss was still inside and she welcomed us into her store.

”Good evening, madame. How were the sales do far and how your outreach to your clients?”

”Good evening, Senior and Young Master. My sales had been very good and skyrocketed when Senior Master here made an announcement during the demonstration of your laundry machine. The innermost and the following district had snapped up the Karada Soap and Hae Shanpu even and they said it was much better than the perfume that they had purchased from here.”
