97 4.21 Appearance of The Lady in White and Another Lady in White. (1/2)

The dog's howling came nearer and nearer as if it was warning us of something or simply trying to scare us off. From the distance, we would not be see anything much except for the silhouette of the abandoned house in the distance.

All of us were trying to catch some sleep but was also half awake, unable to sleep in this kind of situation where everyone was basically sitting on the cold hard ground. Although there was some breeze neither of us was able to get some shut-eye.

”Hey guys, where is scared shitless? He was here with us moments ago and no one saw him stand up and walk away! Where can he go to in the middle of the darkness here? If he walks around here sure he would not miss casting a shadow against the portable light behind us!”

The scared shitless guy had gone missing out of a sudden and panic streaked across us. Not only he left without. A buddy but he did leave without a trace and sound. There was a bad premonition feeling among us as we all stood up and used the portable light to scan the area but our efforts were futile.

It was late in the middle of the night and we had no choice but to pair up and began a search party. There was no chance of letting anyone behind and after we made a careful headcount we walk in pairs in a line and headed to the overgrowth that we had found some fruits before.

An SPI team member had brought the portable lamp in front of the line while the elastic rubberised cord was stretched out in between while the last pair carried the battery. This way no one is able to go astray while holding on to the electric connector.

After we had combed the area inch by inch we were sure that he was not in this area at all and decided to move back to the van where we had gathered before. Upon reaching the van we piled up some more wood into the glowering embers and it quickly burst into flames and ended having a bonfire.

”Pornsak, do you think the scared shitless guy had gone back to the house all by himself? I had a feeling that he would be there and something might have happened to him. This place is like a dome and everything under the dome would be affected like spiritual third Eye and also our mobile phones.”

”I have a hunch too, Aroon. We better head there and hope he is there and not being influenced or anything. It's not something we could attend to within our means at this moment.”

”HunNa, I think we better head there and hope to find our missing team member. I hope nothing has happened to him. I bring along a videocam.”

The team leader spoke up and everyone got back information and walk towards the archway and this time, the bronze lamps at both ends of the wall was lit up and gave a dim yellowish glow. Not even enough to light up our way. Just as a decorative piece, that's all.

The video camera that was brought along by the team leader of SPI was head-mounted and there is a chin strap that kept it steady on his head. Leaving both his hands free, he held on to the portable light ahead. The video camera was switched on and every single movement was captured on the viewfinder.

As soon as we neared the crescent-shaped winding concrete staircase of the house, we saw a dark silhouette grovelling at the top of the staircase. The SPI team leader then trained the spotlight and they were surprised beyond words.

Scared shitless was on fours and feasting the roast pork all by himself! He had bitten through all the fruits and he turned his head towards us, snarling like a rabid dog with his mouth full of food!

He took one of the red candles and started to chew on it like it was a piece of candy. No doubt scared shitless was now totalled possessed! As we neared him, he turned tail and ran inside the house, on all fours like an animal.

We tried to call him out but to no avail when suddenly we were greeted by a lady in white that seems to glide from inside the house and stood near the front door. Now, when we first came to this abandoned house, the front doors were barely hanging by its hinges, but this time it was complete and full of grandeur! It was as though there is nothing wrong with the door. We turned the light around and saw that the house was suddenly well kept with no signs of disrepair and there were running electricity in the house as well!

Did we just step into a whole new dimension or was it mass hypnosis?
