Thundery clouds that were looming against the overcast seemed to have doggedly followed us all the way from Wat Pai Ngoen in Bangkok and flashed of lightning can be seen electrifying in the skies above as it threatens to pour down to earth any second now.

Since it was a bad idea to drive in a rented van especially we won't know its roadworthy in rainy weather, we decided to make a pitstop at a nearby noodle house which was just a short distance to a guest house which the SPI team had discovered in their local travel searches.

We parked at noddle shop which was reportedly well known for its pig intestines and other internal parts that had been made into some kind of herbal broth.

This was taken by mixing the broth with the blanched yellow string noodles with a dash of dark vinegar and some minced devilish chilli. It was rather a solemn dinner as we spoke through what we had seen through the pictures are taken from the camera whilst at the abandoned crematorium.

The pictures that had captured these entities were as clear as day itself and if not for its translucent effect, one might feel that a real baby was actually playing peekaboo and acting so photogenic in front of the cameras.

We sincerely hope that what Pornsak had left on the floor as a gateway to them to return to the other side would be fruitful and no harm would befall them out of their true intent of just covering this documentary.

The guest house had about 4 bunk beds in each room with an attached toilet and bath, which was a blessing to us and its more like a backpacker place to call, rather than a hotel though.

With its neat and no-frills accommodation which consists of a small fridge and a ceiling fan, nothing could beat its price. With the 8 of us squarely divided into 2 bedrooms, each fare per head for the night's accommodation was only USD$4 or 125 THB.

Some of the SPI guys went to the nearest convenience store to grab some bottles of mineral water, some soft drinks and beers. They even bought some snacks such as groundnuts and broad beans which they intend to be accompanied by them while reviewing the documentary on their video camera.

Since their prized equipment had been earlier blessed for this type of project, special enhancements were being made in order to be able to capture these entities even in broad daylight. So little was left behind when it was being utilized in this project.

Pornsak tagged along with me and ended spending the night together in a bunk bed amidst some of the equipment on the floor and other team members on the top bunk of the bed. Of course, even when we are ”sleeping” together, doesn't actually mean we would be performing acts of copulating out of respect and our dignity.

The night whiled away when the SPI team was evaluating their documentary and there were some clips where entities of naked babies were waddling on the ground while some were walking and staring straight at the video camera as it recorded away.

Soon the SPI team was recording minutes in their little notebook of the time frame these entities appear and would be making a sort of epilogue for each ending segment so that the viewers would be able to view these little unedited scenes clearly with zoom effect.

Thinking back, it was kinda sad and depressing when one thinks that 2002 foetus was being disposed off in a careless manner. People simply had not a notion that taking an abortion is a form of murder and these murdered babies end up in places where they should never be.

Simply sad.

Simply cruel.

Simply depressing.

Simply killing another innocent soul.

Haissshhh...

I embraced Pornsak tightly as I recalled the events at the abandoned crematorium as the images of these entities played over in my mind as they seemed happy to have visitors around them and offering their favourites to them.

I reminisced how the babies would feel if they were to be born perfectly in this world with the overflowing care and love from both parents as they journey through a normal life.

”Would you leave me if I'm pregnant?”

Her voice sounded tranquil in the middle of the night as I embraced her even tighter and kissed her forehead while saying, ”I will never leave you even for the world. There's something mystical between us and if happens that you are pregnant with our baby, I would like him or she grow up with lots of love from both of us.”

She nodded her head and snuggled even deeper into my chest and after some time her steady breathing and the rise and fall of her chest indicates that she had fallen asleep. I sighed to myself and soon fall into a slumber.

The next following day, after a hearty breakfast at one of the pushcart food vendor near the hostel, we quickly and carefully packed up our equipment.

The batteries of the video camera had been fully charged and a new Hi8 tape had been inserted so that it would be accidentally re-recorded afterwards. The notch on top of the tape had been removed and it had been marked accordingly with the date, time and location.

Enroute to the said location of Ajarn Chuan Ashram, upon Pornsak's request, we pulled over to the market place to buy some assorted flowers of 7 different types.

She also bought 2 green limes and told us this is for precautionary measures. We don't know what she meant by the purpose of these 2 green limes but we just proceeded with her plan.

She also bought a packet of rough salts in which she deftly cut a small opening on the top before she proceeds to cut the limes into halves and squeeze the contents inside it. Little did I know this would play an important part in the next segment.

We drove and reached into an isolated path that diverts out from the main road and into the forest. As it was a sparse overgrowth, the SPI driver decides to drive carefully over and stop midway as there were some trees that blocked the path and there was no way through.

He lets everyone off the van and reverses back the position of the van heading towards the main asphalt Road. After we had collected the necessary equipment we made our way on foot to what seems to be an abandoned house of some sort and there were a lot of silhouettes of statues that lined the path leading to the house.
