72 3.29- Spread Your Wings and Take Flight Little Birds... (1/2)

It's already past 10 am. The nurses would be changing their shift pretty soon and it's time to take action. I bought several Macdonalds meal set and paid them with our balance cash. We didn't buy any for ourselves and I spoke to Akira that we would be leaving this city pretty soon and I want her to follow my directions clearly.

She asked about her aunt whether she knew about it and I told Akira that her aunt was waiting for us at her home. She nodded in acknowledgement and said she trusts me and will follow my every direction. Good girl, I said while I tapped her head.

I gathered all the Macdonalds set meals and set it on her lap while I pushed the wheelchair up to the hospital. Upon reaching the solitary ward, I placed all the three sets of Macdonald's meal on the station counter and made my way inside Akira's ward.

I closed the door gently and told Akira to undress and put on her home clothes and then put on her hospital clothes over it. I pulled the curtain around the wheelchair and she changed. I told her don't forget all her things in her bag. After some time she said OK and seemed that she had changed her clothes as I directed.

I opened up the ward's curtain and seems that she had done perfectly what was required to do. I asked her to stand up and with slight difficulty, she managed to do so... Unsteadily at first but then became more fluid in the end. I told her nevermind but to remain in her seat in the wheelchair at the moment. She nodded.

The changing shift of the nurses began and I saw them took the Macdonalds package and head to the end of the hallway into the pantry and leaving the nurses' Station empty. I wheeled Akira out, before placing her bag on top of her lap and locked the door before me.

We were waiting at the side of the hospital building when a white Nissan car (I used a cab-hailing app on the handphone while at the side of the hospital) came by and honked. I wheeled Akira and assisted her to sit down in the rear passenger seat. I then placed the wheelchair at the side of the walkway and entered into the car beside her.

Everything looked as good as planned with no hiccups. The white Nissan brought us to Kachigawa, where our dorms were situated. We paid the driver and I assisted Akira to step out. I went in to talk with the landlord and he came out with his wife to greet Akira.

A few moments later all our belongings which had been readied a few days earlier was packed neatly into 2 small red and blue trolley cases. I bowed deeply to both of them and promised to write and send some postcards. That's the last time we were to meet them. Furthermore, the rent for our stay had been paid 3 months in advance so no one would suspect we will be absconding from school or dormitories.

I took out my Docomo phone, extracted the sim card and inserted a new one. I then called for another taxi and I told Akira to undress while I ogle at her naked body... *ahem* and threw away her hospital pyjamas one street away.

A taxi came within 5 minutes and we loaded our stuff and headed to another destination.

We headed to Kozoji Station and alighted. It was now close to lunchtime. We headed to a restaurant called ”Kitchen Ichimatsu” after the roundabout, entered and found a seat for 2.

We ordered a quick lunch of ramen noodles with large prawns on them and lots of vegetables and garnishing with a cracked egg on it. We ate quietly, while I kept making eye contact at Akira and winked at her. She let out a chuckle every time I did that. She knew as long as I'm happy she would be happy too.

Luckily I transferred Chi energies to her legs in order to utilise them in our little getaway from hell. Little did she knew how dangerous our lives would be if we stayed longer in our hometown. With her working legs, we managed to cover the surface ground with ease.

After lunch, I called Akira's aunt that we are outside the perimeter and told her we would be at the Imperial Hotel at the Lake Iruka under the assumed family name of Ajinomoto. She told us she would meet us there in a day or two.
