26 Blue Giant Lake Serpent 1 (1/2)
Ryth placed the ebony sword on his mouth and then drawn out [Vengeance], forming his fighting stance.
”Daedalus! Turn on the team voice chat function!” Ryth instructed. ”Connect the chat to Azalea, as well. I will explain this to her.”
”Okay!”
Since Azalea's first job was a swordswoman, she doesn't really have a staff. However, she also doesn't have a sword after her sword was stolen by the bandits. To protect herself, she made a defensive stance, looking around for the blue serpent, when suddenly a voice rang in her mind.
”Yo! It's me, Ryth.”
Azalea jumped in surprise as she looked around for the voice. ”What the heck! Where did that came from??” she exclaimed.
She heard Ryth clearing his throat awkwardly. And then he said, ”I'm talking with you telepathically.”
Azalea gasped. ”Eh, you can do that too?? Is this one of your skills, as well??” she asked, still in shock.
Ryth laughed awkwardly in the chat. ”Uh, yeah. Its a skill of mine where I used it to communicate with the three of you. But only I can talk into your mind. So, if you want to reply to me, you have to say it out loud, okay?” he explained.
Azalea looked over at Ryth with a weird look. ”He has a skill like that…?” she thought. ”I thought he is just a normal swordsman.”
She then faced towards where the blue serpent is and nodded. ”Sure. I understand,” she replied, going back to her defensive stance.
”Hill! Go attack the blue serpent with all of your skills!” Ryth shouted in the chat. ”Make sure that you hit its vulnerable parts!”
”Understood!”
The giant blue serpent swam above the water in an astonishing speed, swimming towards them.
Ryth then shouted in the chat, ”Everyone! Fallback! We will battle it out on the ground!”
The three of them immediately jumped back further on land.
The area around the lake was a grassland, filled with few trees, surrounding the lake. It makes them easier to move around the area, avoiding the blue serpent.
Ryth readied his weapon to face off the big serpent as the {Eye of Daedalus} turned red.
”SHAAA!”
The big serpent came out from the water and slithered towards Ryth. When it was near to Ryth, it opened its huge fangs. However, Llyod quickly blocked the attack, using his skills.
{Heavy Swing}!
”CLANG!” The sounds from the clashes of the sword and the fangs made the air vibrate and gushed out. Llyod's ebony greatsword could only blocked it but it does no damage to the fangs. However, since Llyod's strength is really high, he could withstand its power.
As the blue serpent was distracted by Llyod, Ryth immediately saw the chance and shouted, ”Attack its belly! Only those special material weapons can attack the scales physically!”
”Understood!” Llyod and Hill shouted.
Ryth's swords glowed with blue light, and he disappeared.
”Llyod, switch!”

”SHAAA!” the big serpent screamed angrily as it swung its tail towards Ryth.
Ryth jumped over its tail, avoiding the attack and activated his skill {Deflect}. The skill helped him moved around its tail in the air fluidly. And he immediately activated another skill.
{Cut}!
The three swords cut through the big serpent scale.

After the attack, Ryth safely landed on the ground and hurriedly step back, switching with Llyod to block the blue serpent.
Ryth turned to Azalea. ”Azalea! Go attack the serpent with a Lightning element magic type!” he instructed.
”Ehhh…! But I can only use water and wind elements! I don't concentrate much on my magic spells since its only my second job,” Azalea said, flustered.
”Then, can you make a solid water barrier? like a floating, flat, simple one?”
”Yeah, sure, I guess.”
”Great!” Ryth exclaimed. ”On my call, attack it first with your wind element magic! After that, you can cast the barrier!”
”Okay!” Azalea answered, concentrating on her casting.
On the other side of the lake, just near Azalea, Hill keeps on shooting his arrows on the blue serpent's vulnerable part, especially the broken scale which was hit by Ryth earlier.

”SHAAA!” the big serpent screamed in pain. It turned to where Hill was and was about to attack him when a gushed of wind knocked it back.

The big serpent fell against the trees from across the lake, crushing them. As it struggled to get up, another wind crushed it right on its head.

”Holy crap!” Ryth exclaimed in shock, his eyes widened. ”She's so strong! She should be at least level 35! If her magician class is only her second class… imagine her skills as a swordswoman!”
He narrowed his eyes. ”Now, I'm getting more curious as to how did she end up being caught by those bandits,” he murmured to himself.
As the battle goes on, Llyod and Ryth moved together, running towards the blue serpent. Llyod activated all of his skills while Ryth imbued [Ryuujin's Will] with his mana. He lifted his weapon up and when lighting appeared on the katana, Ryth instantly activated a skill.
”Switch!”

Its HP fell to 65% really quickly. With Azalea, Hill, and Llyod repeatedly attacking the blue serpent, giving it no chance to move, Ryth used the opportunity to use all of his basic skills as well.
