”You sure is still still sharp tongued as the rumours claim, huh? ” Islinda smiled gladly at him. It's been months since she last saw him and here he was, appeared out of nowhere suddenly in front of her.

”Long time no see Nolan. You should have notified me earlier if you want to see me. Why making a fuss on the ceremony day? ” She asked as if she wasn't slight bit interested to meet him.

She was excited and was on the cloud nine assuming he was here for her. However, the next second her sadness overtook her joy listening to him. But, this wasn't the time to show she felt wronged because of him.

” I will talk to you later Izzy, but before that could you please allow me to take your seat for sometime, ” He smiled warmly and brightly just like the warm rays of the morning sun.

Disappointment filled her heart and she understood he was not necessarily came to meet her. It's been five days. But, none of her siblings came to check upon her. She really wished he was here for her. But, that's not been the case.

Heaving a sign of disappointment, and gaining her composure, she stood from her seat and gave way to him.

Nolan understood he disappointed her. He chuckled and jovially ruffled her hair, ”Don't be such a child. I am here to meet you too. It's just I have some other business at hand first. Just give me 5 minutes my dear sister Islinda. ”

Listening to him, her mood instantly brightened, ” Who's a child. You are the child. Your whole family is fied with child's.You are Overthinking things. It's none of my business for what work you came here. Stop being pretentious and don't think the whole world revolves around you, ”she blasted back everything that was on her mind.

Nolan couldn't help but chuckle at her childish behavior, ” Ok ok, I am the one to blame. Now stop being angry at me. Otherwise, you won't get something you like. ”

Turing a 180 degree attitude, ” Oh my, Nolan, your legs might be hurting from standing for a long time. Why don't you take a seat.”

She immediately urged him to take her seat.

Nolan was pretty satisfied at her change of hospitality and felt happy ,”That's being so nice of you, ”saying that he immediately took his seat next to Roselia.

Everyone might think he was treating her fairly and they were having a good conversation, but those words are just mock her and the smile only looked like a smirk which Islinda wants to rip off his face.
