”Well, this is what you said. If you don't want to answer, then don't!” Wei Qing winked at him craftily and continued to ride her horse.

Xiao Qingqian could not help but laugh and shake his head.

Before the sky turned dark, everyone arrived at the next town in the Southern Kingdom. The dark guards had already found an inn beforehand, so Wei Qing and Xiao Qingqian immediately took up residence.

When he heard the knock on the door, Xiao Qingqian was just about to go to sleep, ”Who is it?”

”Open the door.”

Xiao Qingqian's puckered up brows immediately relaxed, and quickly opened the door. Looking at Wei Qing's solemn face, he could not help but frown.

”What happened?”

Wei Qing closed the door, and could not help but shiver.

This room was truly not as warm as the room she was currently in.

”Take a look at this!”

Xiao Qingqian immediately understood how the secret report came to be in Wei Qing's hands, but, he guessed that the situation would be dire if a secret report was to come from the capital, so he did not say much and only read it quickly.

”Long Xiaotian is actually sending troops to the Northern Kingdom, is he preparing to devour the Northern Kingdom while you're not here?” Wei Qing said angrily.

Xiao Qingqian scoffed, ”His appetite is a little too big.”

Before they set off, he and Wei Qing had already expected that Long Xiaotian would attack them from the east side.
