After making up his mind, Wei Qing went back to the noodles and added a few eggs. Looking at the glistening yellow dough, she was in a good mood.
She had the guards cover the bottom of the barrel with bamboo charcoal and place a round metal plate on top of it. When the dough was properly awakened, they would brush it with oil and place it on top of the metal plate.
”Is the order ready?”
The guard nodded.
He quickly placed each small metal box with charcoal added onto the side of the barrel. Wei Qing checked the temperature and saw that it was completely red from the heat.
He asked the guard to close the lid and waited quietly.
The two chefs were completely unable to understand what Wei Qing was trying to do. Looking at the dough that Wei Qing had smashed earlier, they couldn't help but twitch their mouths, ”I think we should just make it into steamed buns!”
After the two made up their minds, they began to make steamed buns.
After waiting for the bread to be roasted, Wei Qing thought about how she had yet to make the beef mince inside. With a raise of her eyebrows, she quickly ran back to the kitchen.
Wei Qing told them what ingredients she needed and the two cooks quickly found them.
Seeing that Wei Qing was about to use a rolling pin to beat the beef, the two cooks looked at Wei Qing's small arm and quickly said: ”Princess, it's better to leave it to the young ones.”
If something were to happen to the wangfei and they had to stretch her arm, they would be forced to leave without eating!
Wei Qing nodded and handed over the rolling pin to the two of them.
After the beef was hammered until it was thick, Wei Qing gave the two people some seasonings and made them into round meat patties.
In this era where there were no tomatoes, Wei Qing used pickled cucumber as a substitute.
Thinking that it was about time, Wei Qing ran to the outside and gently moved the cover away a little. The heat from the wave struck her face and she was in high spirits.
The temperature wasn't any lower than the oven. It seemed that she could continue to roast bread and make dessert in the future!
Thinking about this, Wei Qing got the guards to remove the cover.
Looking at the bread that had been roasted until it was puffed up, the gloominess on Wei Qing's forehead completely disappeared.
The guard helped Wei Qing to take out the bread pieces and put them on a cool down. Wei Qing did the same thing as before and made a few more bread pieces, each one more delicious than the last.
Although it was still not as good as the oven, maybe because the flour and other things in the ancient times were naturally non-harmful and pure green, Wei Qing felt that the taste was really good.
The two cooks weren't sure what it was either. Looking at the puffy bread that was softer than steamed buns, they frowned and asked Wei Qing what it was.
Wei Qing smiled as she handed one of them over to the two.
”Delicious!”
Wei Qing took some cotton thread and cut the bread that was cold in the middle. Adding the beef mince and pickled cucumber, there was no cheese sauce, but Wei Qing was helpless. She could only add some seasoning on top of the peanut butter.
After tasting it, the taste was excellent.
He left one for the two cooks, and gave the few secret guards who were helping to roast bread to the others. Then, he carried the rest back to the living room and waited quietly for Xiao Qingqian to return.
Mo Yun and Qing He frowned when they smelled the fragrance.
”What is this?” Mo Yun asked Qing He in a low voice.
Qing He remained silent.
When Wei Qing saw the curious look on Die'er's face, she couldn't help but raise her eyebrows. ”This is a hamburger!”
”Bag?” Die'er blinked.
”It's a sweat bag!” Zhu Er corrected him, ”However, why is such a delicious dish related to perspiration?”
Wei Qing was teased by the two of them, ”Stop teasing me, it's a hamburger.”
Seeing the two words that Wei Qing had written, Die'er and Zhu Er were still confused.
It was clearly a pie. How did it become a hamburger?
