Chapter 66 - Unsharpened Angle

Although Wei Qing repeatedly told herself that there was no one under the roof who would not lower their head, she still had to get up early to be in charge of picking medicinal ingredients, and even cook for this damned old man.

”Since I've already offered him my tea, I might as well die or stay here and listen obediently!”

Wei Qing angrily snorted at him.

”Hurry up and pick the medicinal herbs!”

Wei Qing looked at him coldly, ”What exactly is your name?!”

”Why should I tell you when I'm not even addressing you as' Master '?”

Wei Qing focused on him, and the flames of anger in his eyes burned more and more fiercely, ”You can't be committing an offense against the imperial government, right?”

The old man was extremely angry, and even his eyebrows and whiskers started to float up.

As his voice fell, he was hit on the head with a heavy blow.

Wei Qing was in pain, her red eyes staring straight at him, ”Why did you make such a move?”

Just as he finished speaking, he was struck once again.

The two consecutive blows had caused Wei Qing great pain.

”Hey!”

”If you still don't go, there won't be any food for you tonight!” The old man was not courteous at all, he was like a snake striking a snake seven inches away, causing the sharp aura around Wei Qing to dissipate a bit.

”Just go!” Wei Qing muttered softly, ”If she doesn't even want to say her name, then there must be something fishy.”

The old man watched her as she walked further and further away. Although he was angry, he also felt that it was interesting.

When Wei Qing went to pick up the herbs, she accidentally found a notebook. The handwriting was elegant and seemed to be written personally by the old man, on it were recorded many poisons that she had never heard of before, she could not help but read them with interest.

”Cough, cough ~ ~ ~”

Hearing the cough, Wei Qing suddenly raised her head. Looking at the old man's eyes that were brimming with anger, the corners of her lips stiffened.

”Where are the medicinal herbs that were picked?” the old man asked.

Wei Qing's smile became even more unsightly, and she asked, ”Master, are you called Chen Yang?”

The old man frowned. ”How do you know?”

Wei Qing waved the notes in her hand, ”Chen Yang, it should be your notes!”

”You're a monkey spirit!” After Chen Yang finished speaking, his expression became gloomy once again, ”Go and make lunch!”

Wei Qing rubbed her ears, ”Can't you just speak properly?”

She had just looked at her notes and realized that Chen Yang was indeed a highly skilled person in medical arts. If she could learn something from him, it would truly be beneficial for her.

Seeing that although she was dissatisfied, she did not continue to be against him, Chen Yang raised his eyebrows.

The ingredients in the kitchen were relatively simple. Wei Qing thought for a moment, then decided to make the stew.

When she brought in the two bowls of stew, Chen Yang took a whiff, it was quite fragrant!

”What is this?” Chen Yang glared at Wei Qing.

”Master, don't be angry. Taste it!” Wei Qing laughed as she picked up the chopsticks and took a bite, her lips leaving a trace of fragrance, ”So fragrant!”

”Don't fool me!” Chen Yang picked up the chopsticks, and only took a sip, and already felt that the stew was unusually pleasant. The rice grains were mixed with the delicate fragrance of the dishes and the fragrance of the rice was also in the dish. It was truly not bad.

”Pa ~ ~”

Wei Qing's head exploded with pain, causing her eyes to redden from the pain, ”Master, what do you mean by this?”

”Well done!” Chen Yang praised.
