“You are a smart boy. Would you like to go to the army with uncle?” Yu Jiangqing asked with a smile.

“What are you talking about?” Gu Juexi quickly interrupted Yu Jiangqing’s words. He obviously did not want his son to join the military.

Yu Jiangqing ignored Gu Juexi and continued talking. “Your father used to be in the military. He was one of the best soldiers that we had ever had, and he was a hero.”

“Whoever invited him here can get lost now,” Gu Juexi said, his voice filled with anger and frustration.

He was a soldier before and therefore, he knew how difficult it was to walk the path of a soldier.
