Chapter 28

As many inmates were playing their own tune to cover for the sadness of Irene and her unborn child, The guards outside didn't dare to enter inside with all the noise they were making . . .

Slowly but slowly days have pa.s.sed, then months after months and finally a year was spent in prison, all the inmates had managed to support each other of not losing their sanity or humanity towards their Dragonification . . . .

They got tortured, left to die in hunger, left to die from thirst, but even so they managed to survive as they had each other side by side . .

Irene was having it 10 times more harder as she had no magic to protect herself from the beating and torture in order to protect her child and at the same time halt her growth . . . .

All of them were furious even more so when they thought that once they fought with these people hand to hand, shoulder to shoulder against the Dragons to save a bit o humanity they had . . . .

Ryouji was even more furious than them as the girl who had in his sight for becoming his in the future was getting tortured and beaten every day . . . .

They were a few times he crashed on the bars to get himself free and take her out, but he wasn't that lucky as the bars were reinforced with magic making them even harder . . . .

During this time Ryouji couldn't to much except to give her a few words or courage making her pain go away even a little . . .

All this time Irene was trying her hardest so that not only she can protect her child but also not to become a Dragon . . . They were a few times for her that she almost lost her to her rage and grieved making the Dragon seed inside her to trigger . . . .

Ryouji was trying to absorb some of its power reducing her burden as much he could so far from his System he knew that he had absorbed from the encryption of it around 50% . .

Clenching his fists all he could do was scream his support for her . . . Never Give Up!!!!

This went on and on endlessly day after day, month after month the second year had come by and thing was tiny bit better as Ryouji had finished the second part of his quest, reducing the overload in her body from the seed, he managed to revert the seed back to its original state where she had got it from Belsarion . . .

Unfortunately, the signs of transformation were still there but she felt better as if a weight that crushed her every day was gone . . . making her more protective towards the future Erza . . . .
