Chapter 5 (1/2)

Chapter 5, Things about losing weight…

As for weight loss, Master Su, who had lived for 41 years, had not experienced it personally. Before reaching 39 years old, his physical fitness had been excellent. At that time, he had no habit of wearing white long s.h.i.+rts and Tang suits, did not lie on a soft couch in winter, or listen to opera on a sitting mat in summer.

Before the age of 39, Su Bai had a wide range of hobbies, such as climbing, fis.h.i.+ng, golf, horseback riding, shooting, martial arts, boxing and so on. He spent a lot of physical energy maintaining his physical function. He did not have the need to worry about fats or the need to lose weight, though several female companions around him worried about it day and night.

Occasionally, Su partic.i.p.ated in women's tea sessions, and nearly every time the topic of “losing weight” could be heard. A female friend of Su once said that losing weight is every woman's lifelong career from birth to death, but most peoples' career were not very successful.

As a form of courtesy, Su did not open his mouth and stopped himself from telling that increasingly wealthy female friend, “When you are happy, you always say to celebrate a big meal. When you are in a bad mood, you always say to eat a big meal to make up for yourself. You go to eat a big meal on your birthday, you also went to eat a big meal on his birthday, and eat a big meal on my birthday. Whether it is the Qingming Festival or Ghost Festival in July, you have it like this.” It would be strange if you could cut down weight when you always ate big during events.

Rather than saying that losing weight is a woman's lifelong career, Su thought it was an interest and more appropriately, a pursuit.

And now, Master Su will join billions of other people in the world in the pathway to losing weight. Keeping in mind the five words “eat less and exercise more”, Su resolutely refused to take the shorter route.

In the morning, a cup of fresh soybean milk – Master Su did not think well to the hard-to-digest milk – and a bowl of brown rice, red date, and coix porridge. After eating, he went for a walk along the s.p.a.cious mountain path until he reached the foot of the mountain. When the food was almost digested, he just walked to the seaside. He put on his earphone and listened to music, enjoyed the refres.h.i.+ng sea breeze and insisted on the fast-and-slow running.

Having no sense of honor and self-awareness as a university lecturer, Su Bai was early to take sickness as a reason to ask for leave from the school. The locks within and outside of the house were also changed, and as to whether Su Yiyang would be able to enter the villa was another matter. As far as he knows, Su Yiyang seldom came here to stay anyways.

A dark-coloured car stopped quietly at the seaside mountain road for some time. There were three men in the car, who wore black uniforms and white s.h.i.+rts. The sun in the morning was still struggling to where the sky and water met each other. The three men wore big black sungla.s.ses, seemingly afraid that others will not know that they were from the mafia.

“Those big stars are really f.u.c.king annoying. If there's something wrong at home, we are the ones who have to deal with it and get rid of it!” The little grunt who was driving, Big Cat, yawned, and his heavy eyelids under the sungla.s.ses were already closed.

“Su Yiyang is a first-line actor of Hurricane so the boss needs to use him to do business in the future. What are you screaming about? Feng-Ge, don't you think so?” Ah Mao, the other grunt sitting in the pa.s.senger's seat, lowered his head and took a sip of soybean milk. Taking out his cell phone, he took a picture of the sea view outside. Looking at the picture, he happily bit the straw and uploaded it to Scarf¹. He captioned it, “Can I wait for such a person to accompany me to watch the sunrise?”

“Psh, only you are smart!” Big Cat hummed and glanced a little at Ah Mao's actions on Scarf. “In fact, the boss is only making us do for show. Feng-Ge, don't you think so?”

Ah Feng rolled down half of the car window and took out his sungla.s.ses. The plump figure on the beach was very perseverant. First, he accelerated his running speed, then he slowed down. After about forty to fifty minutes, he slowed down to walk for a while and stretched his legs and legs. This kind of exercise was clearly trained.

This flexible fat man, Su Mo,  is Su Yiyang's half-brother? As an illegitimate child, Su Mo had no place in Su's family when he was a child. At least as far as Ah Feng knew, the man was no different from a servant in Su's family. Though, this awkward position changed after he went to Europe with the Su family as an adult.

Su Yiyang that little fox claimed that he was driven out by Su Mo, but what he really wanted was for Tang Zhong to buy a villa for him. As for Su Mo, he was just an ordinary person.  Most likely because Ah Feng knew of Su Mo's previous experiences, he had slight sympathy for this nimble fat man.

Putting back on his sungla.s.ses, Ah Feng silently rolled up the window and prepared to let Big Cat drive back. Suddenly with an instinctive glare, not far away, there was a handsome young man wearing white cotton clothes riding a bicycle towards this side, and even from a distance, even if separated by the window, even if separated by sungla.s.ses, the instant instinctive eye contact could not be blocked.

There was a chill in his heart, and Ah Feng told Big Cat to drive away. Through the rearview mirror, he saw the young man throw down his bicycle and run to a white fat man who was still exercising at the seaside.

… …

… …

After running for a while on the beach in the salty sea breeze, Su Bai ran along the mountain path with Ye Ziwu for an hour. When Su Bai returned to his villa, he almost fell on his feet and legs. Sure enough, he had overestimated this body, that was like a big white steamed bread, which had not been exercising for many years. Leaving Ye Ziwu aside, Su Bai went back to his room trembling and took a bath.

Chubby limbs, waist, and abdomen were wrapped with fresh-keeping film², the bath was filled with hot water and Su Bai let his body sink into the bath after taking a deep breath. Overflowing the layer of water flowers, his limbs stretched out and relaxed.

What was going on with that black car in the morning? Did Chen Yuan find out about something? Su Bai subconsciously denied this idea. He had woken up for half a month, and only a small number of people interacted with him. Even Chen Yuan could not have perceived anything in City, let alone Su Bai would not have believed the matter of the soul borrowing a body in the past. Unless one personally experienced it, few people would believe it.

Su Bai soaked in a hot bath for an hour. After he came out of the bathroom, the clothes were still from when Su Mo bought them. Sure, Master Su was a man who was all about leading a good life. Even so, he was really unwilling to take a step into the mall with his fat body at the moment. So, he was also casual about the clothes he wore.

When Su Bai came down from the stairs, Ye Ziwu had just carried two cups of coffee from the bar counter to the living room. The man put down his coffee and waved to Su Bai enthusiastically, “Mr. Su.”

Master Su returned with a gentle smile. Now, he only drinks three kinds of things: cool, white and sugar-free soymilk and plain black coffee.
