Chapter 1300 (1/2)
The moon is bright.
On the border between Ecuador and Colombia, a military green SUV stops on a hilly slope.
In front of the hills is a dense rainforest. A river about knee deep divides the forest into two. On one side of the river is Ecuador, and on the other side is Colombia.
Ecuadorian soldiers, armed with rifles, jumped out of the car, took two steps forward, took their binoculars out of their arms and looked at the situation in Colombia.
After confirming that there were no border guards patrolling the area, he turned back to the SUV, opened the door for the man in the car, and said in Spanish with a mouthful of cigars.
”In front of you is the border. There's a small Colombian town about two kilometers away, where you can take a bus to a nearby city. It's better to cross the border as soon as possible. Also, remember to be careful with the lights of the patrol helicopters and the crocodiles in the swamp
”Thank you. I will.” After getting out of the car, the man with a big beard chuckled and said thanks to the soldier.
The Ecuadorian soldier grinned.
”You're welcome. Our friends' guests are also our guests.”
In principle, Ecuador and Colombia, as friendly neighbors, should not give the green light to the opposition in Colombia. But there are exceptions to everything, especially Ecuador's honeymoon trade with starring. Under the temptation and confusion of the space elevator check, basically, all the requirements put forward by the new country can be fully accommodated here.
Even if it's a violation of diplomatic principles.
With a meaningful smile, Hurst nodded and stopped talking. He picked up his backpack from the back seat of the SUV. He threw his backpack on his back and walked towards the border between Colombia and Ecuador under the sight of the soldier.
After wading across the river and walking over a kilometer of rainforest, he pulled his motorcycle out of the Bush and left his backpack on it.
The roar of the engine startled the lizard lying on the tree, and the crocodile on the bank raised his eyelids slightly.
After getting on the motorcycle, he confirmed the direction by the moonlight, and drove straight to the small town of Columbia not far from the border.
It's getting late at night.
Stopping in front of a warehouse on an abandoned farm, Hurst locked his motorcycle in front of the door, glanced at the blackened warehouse and reached out to push open the rusty iron door.
”Who.”
I don't know when, a gun out of the shadow, can withstand his side face.
At the corner of his mouth, Hurst raised his hands above his head and said impatiently.
”Me.”
As soon as the voice dropped, the beard faded from his face at a speed visible to the naked eye. His face was wriggling like boiling water. With the crackling sound of bones, Hurst was completely transformed into a different look.
The muzzle against the face slowly retracted.
Hurst lowered his raised hands and complained to the shadow.
”Is it necessary?”
”Special period, excuse me.” Said the man in a hoarse voice.
With a shrug, Hurst followed the man and walked deep into the warehouse.
Bypassing an agricultural machine, in the corner of the warehouse, he saw a glimmer of light leaking from a wooden door.
The wisp of light is very fragile, flickering in the dark, like a boat swaying in the storm, as if the next second will disappear in the surging waves.
In a way, it's in a similar position to the current black ships.
