The person who opened the door was w.a.n.g Yu. When she saw Ye Qian she gawked in surprised. There a trace of excitement flashed across her face before quickly turning back to a dark expression.

Ye Qian was thinking that he hadn't seen w.a.n.g Yu in a very long time. Seeing her now made him feel a little guilty. ”Same old, same old. You?” perhaps because they hadn't seen each other in a long time, the two of them were somewhat unfamiliar.

w.a.n.g Yu glared at him and said, ”Grudge-holder, that was work.”

Ye Qian laughed and said, ”I was just kidding. Let me tell you something form the heart. Among the police you are the most righteous that I have seen. I hope you continue to be steadfast in your righteousness. After all, society needs a person like you to truly protect the people.”

”Famous last words. If you really feel that way then don't get into trouble.” w.a.n.g Yu said. ”Shanghai has not been peaceful these past few days. Even though I don't know what you actually do, I still hope you be careful. Don't commit a crime on my watch, I won't go easy on you.”

Ye Qian laughed and said, ”Can you really do that?”

After he said this Ye Qian felt that it was not right, how could he be saying such flirtatious things. He wanted to give himself two slaps on the face. As expected, after Ye Qian said these words, w.a.n.g Yu stared in surprise and then became silent. The atmosphere because a somewhat awkward once again.

Jack drank his tea, minding his own business, as if he completely did not hear the two people talking.

Ye Qian didn't know what to say to break the silence. He smiled towards w.a.n.g Yu, embarra.s.sed, and drank a mouthful of tea. w.a.n.g Yu looked at Ye Qian with a strange expression and then rose and said, ”My father might be late in coming back. You can wait here, I'll go upstairs and rest.” She looked like she had something to say that she was holding back, like she was reluctant to leave, and seemed a little sullen. Ye Qian couldn't understand it.

”Oh!” Ye Qian said blankly, he didn't know what to say.

He watched w.a.n.g Yu go up the stairs and then regained his emotions, calmly sitting. Jack looked at Ye Qian and smiled faintly and said, ”Boss, you womanizer.”

Ye Qian gawked then gave Jack hard look and said, ”Rubbish.”

”Haha. Don't tell me you don't see it, this girl likes you.” Jack said.
