Ye Qian couldn't understand what these fellows were thinking. Even though those jewelry had already been bought by these rich people and officials, the Wolf Fang wasn't so poor that they'd have to rob them right? Besides, these fellows were dressed up really well for the part, it really looked like it was the case that they were going to go through with the robbery.

Things had already gone this far so there was nothing Ye Qian could do about it. He wasn't going to step forward and berate those guys and say, “Screw off and go back!” This would make it obvious to everybody that he was with them.

Ye Qian lightly fisted Wei Cheng Long's arm and said, “Young Master Wei, did you plan this on purpose? Why would a bunch of robbers suddenly appear here? Did you make plans with them or something?”

Wei Cheng Long stared at him in shock and said, “Stop talking nonsense, I don't know them.”

“Even though you don't know them, this is still Young Master Wei's banquet, this is your territory, and then suddenly some robbers come in, you can't avoid that this is your responsibility.” Ye Qian said.

Don't worry, the person who dares to cause trouble in Wei Cheng Long's territory hasn't been born yet. Hmph, I'll go make them screw off.” Wei Cheng Long said disdainfully. He was already humiliated in the matter of the piano contest, if he allowed these gangsters to cause trouble now he wouldn't be able to show his face anywhere in Shanghai. “Ye Qian, won't something bad happen?” Qin Yue whispered.

“Nothing will happen, it's just a bunch of gangsters. If Young Master Wei can't even handle this then he won't be able to show his face in Shanghai in the future.” Ye Qian said indifferently. Even though the Wolf Fang couldn't be considered Buddhist monks, they were not one to slaughter the innocent, so Ye Qian believed that they would only rough him up a bit and wouldn't kill him.

“All of you get behind me and don't talk. If these guys see pretty girls like you then we'd be in for a predicament. But don't worry, I would protect you all to the death.” Ye Qian said resolutely, this was a good opportunity for a hero to save the beautiful maiden, Ye Qian would not let it pa.s.s.

“Stop right there. I f.u.c.king told you to get down, not listening, eh?”, a gangster holding a submachine gun said to Wei Cheng Long ferociously. Ye Qian stared in surprise, something didn't seem quite right, but he couldn't quite figure out what it was.

“Brother, I have no ill intentions.” Wei Cheng Long raised both arms up as he walked forward, “Brother, we all can't help but want to get rich. But today is my banquet,  give the Wei's some face and we will be indebted to you.”

“Kao, from what f.u.c.king hole did you come from, this daddy doesn't know you. Why should I give you face. Get down, if you keep yapping this daddy will shoot.” The leader of the gangsters roared out after taking a look at Wei Cheng Long.

“I'm the East Ascension Conglomerate's Wei Cheng Long, I have a reputation in Shanghai. May I ask where you brothers are from?” Wei Cheng Long said. Ye Qian helplessly shook his head, what kind of fool was this Wei Cheng Long anyway, didn't he know how to be afraid? If these people weren't the Wolf Fang in disguise, these guys would either kill him or make him a hostage.
