As expected, when Zhao Ya heard the teasing question, she forgot all about wondering why Qin Yue was with Ye Qian at this jewelry exhibit. “Big sister Yue, you’re also making fun of me. This gangster has wronged me so much, and you also won’t help me, how can we be considered sisters.” Zhao Ya replied in a childish manner.

“How did he wrong you?” Qin Yue asked Zhao Ya with a teasing look.

“He… he… he’s an old cow that wants to eat young gra.s.s ” It seemed as if Ye Qian hadn’t done anything untoward to her at all, and Zhao Ya could only muster up this lame excuse.

Ye Qian did not know whether to laugh or to cry, after a moment of silence, he said, “How am I an old cow that wants to eat young gra.s.s, I’m only at least four years older than you. Besides, this is what Uncle Zhao wanted. If it weren’t because of this, do you think I’d be willing to marry you? You don’t have the body or the face. Look at Elder Sister Yue, she’s more womanly by a long shot.”

“You… you… ah….” Zhao Ya grabbed Ye Qian’s arm violently and chomped down, “Sss…..” Ye Qian couldn’t helped hissing. How could he forget that Zhao Ya was a dog that liked to bite people.

“Big Sister Yue, do you see now? This rogue is always bullying me. Help me find justice.” Zhao Ya said after letting go of Ye Qian’s arm. She took Qin Yue’s arm and swung it endearingly like a spoiled child.

These two people were actually close friends and already had many experiences together so they were familiar with each other. No one in school knew about Zhao Ya’s and Qin Yue’s relations.h.i.+p, but in private Qin Yue considered Zhao Ya as her little sister. So, usually Qin Yue would do her best satisfy this little sister’s wishes. Qin Yue had known Zhao Ya for a very long time now so she could clearly see that this girl did not actually feel a lot of disgust and enmity towards Ye Qian. At the most it was only because Ye Qian called himself her fiance that incited her resistance, so that whenever she saw him her expression would turn sour.

Qin Yue smiled lightly and said, “This matter is between you two so an outsider like me can’t interfere. You two are like a couple fighting, if I help you chide this fellow next time, you might blame me. Anyway, there’s nothing I can do about this wicked man.”

“Big Sister Yue, why are you bullying me too. Forget it.” Zhao Ya said, then she turned her away in feigned anger.

Of course Qin Yue could tell that this girl was only pretending but she still played along and went over to baby her/cheer her up/smooth things over. Qin Yue really had a soft spot for Zhao Ya.

“Boss, your luck with women is not shallow.” Li Wei, who had suddenly stealthily appeared besides, said teasingly and chuckled mischievously.

Since Zhao Ya had come, naturally Li Wei, who was acting her bodyguard, would also be here, so Ye Qian was not surprised. Ye Qian glanced at him and said, “Do you know what that xiaozi is planning?”

“It’s not all that clear to me, it seems as though he prepared a big jewelry heist.” Li Wei replied.
