Super Soldier King Chapter 71: Jewelry Auction (part 2)

“No need, thank you!” Qin Yue coldly said. After saying this, she immediately dragged Ye Qian inside. During their entire conversation, Wei Cheng Long didn't even give Ye Qian a glance. It was very evident to him that Ye Qian did not belong there even though he was wearing a suit.  Besides, he will always be a security guard, nothing more, he will never be qualified to be in the upper-society. He also believes that even though Qin Yue was with Ye Qian, it is just a temporary interest, one day Qin Yue will find Ye Qian was not a match for her, and he himself was the better choice..

Ye Qian was not mad, there was no reason to hate rich people, he did not have any right to loathe the children of very rich entrepreneurs. Ye Qianonly treated them as lucky, but being able to get support from their parents, they were mostly arrogant individuals that are unpleasant to the eye. Wei Cheng Long looked down on him and had no intention to talk to him. Ye Qian also didn’t wish to talk to Wei Cheng Long, he just feigned civility. He knew what Wei Cheng Long was thinking. He didn’t like people like Wei Cheng Long but he wouldn’t go so far as to sort him out.

Upon entering the hotel, they saw the hotel lobby arranged with jewels on exhibit for the auction. The top stage radiated with all kinds of neon lamps while the center stage was packed with seats. The stage was apparently decorated temporarily for this particular event, however, it was definitely not a simple and crude arrangement.

With regards to jewels, Ye Qian was clueless, not understanding why all women were so fond of them. Ye Qian considered jewels as a way for a business to earn money, nothing more.

The two of them looked for a place to sit. Ye Qian looked all over the place, only to see, one after another, people continuously entering the hotel, almost all with the female member of their family. He let out a chuckle, it seems that Mary’s reputation in China was not a small one, it was himself that was ignorant and inexperienced.

“Today I allowed you to buy me many clothes for this activity, tonight, in case you like any jewelry, don’t hesitate to let me know,” Ye Qian slightly laugh and said.

Qin Yue was slightly surprised by what Ye Qian said. “You’re not joking right? But Mary is a world famous jewelry designer, every piece of her work costs a minimum of a hundred thousand chinese yuan. In addition to that, today is a charitable auction, I am afraid the price will possibly be pushed higher by other people, can you still pay for it?”

Ye Qian faintly laughed and said, “It doesn’t matter, just tell me if you like anything, I will certainly find a way to get it for you.”

“Ye Qian, you can’t act recklessly. Today the security guards are very strict, if you steal I am afraid that you won’t be able to leave.” Qin Yue said, “You can be relieved, tonight I am simply here to look around, nothing more.”

Ye Qian helplessly shook his head and said, “Oh! What are you saying? You think I dare to commit a robbery? I have my own methods, . Don’t be so harsh, just pick what you want, it’.”

Qin Yue was skeptical and didn’t say anything. She didn’t take it seriously, besides, she wasn’t fond of wearing expensive jewelry. Expensive jewelry wasn’t necessarily beautiful, even those ten dollar ones were pretty and could be bought at street stalls, Qin Yue was sometimes very fond of those tiny baubles.

Ye Qian thought to himself that  Mary’s arrival could not be just a coincidence, what were those group of hooligans trying to pull.. But their arrival already calmed him, now he can properly enjoy this rare jewel exhibit. As for those rogues, he will deal with them after the event.

Not long after, the seats in the big hotel lobby were already packed with people. Actually with regards to this kind of exhibit, many men were watching to see the models, as for the jewels, if it wasn’t for their own womant, they wouldn’t have any interest. Even Ye Qian was like this, before, when he had free time he would go watch  fas.h.i.+on shows and motor show, but he only aimed to see those s.e.xy models. This is the second time he had been to this kind of first-rate jewelry exhibit, and there should be plenty of beautiful women.
