“There’s a patient who has vomited. His HCG is a weak positive, and his vomiting is very intense,” Zheng Ren told him.

“He’s going to the obstetrics and gynecology department to be hospitalized. Do you even need to make a trip there?” Su Yun berated him harshly.

“The thing is that the obstetrics and gynecology department won’t accept the patient after seeing their test results.” Zheng Ren also felt very helpless. “The ultrasound shows that she’s not pregnant.”

Su Yun was stunned for a moment but immediately became interested. “Let’s go, boss. Let’s go take a look.”

Seeing Su Yun’s att.i.tude change completely, Zheng Ren could feel the flames of gossip in the depths of his heart already burning.

The two of them went straight to the emergency department. Outside the resuscitation room, they saw the emergency physician explaining something to the patient’s family.

“What’s wrong?” Zheng Ren walked in and asked.

“Chief Zheng, you’re finally here,” the emergency physician complained. “This is the patient’s examination report. There’s nothing much else to say about it. There are already more than twenty patients lined up over there. I have to hurry. Otherwise, someone will complain about me later.”

Zheng Ren nodded. The emergency physician ran back to the consultation room like a gust of wind.

He first took a look at the patient. It was a young female patient around 20 years old. She was lying on a rescue bed… Or well, she should have been lying on the rescue bed but her head sticking out of the headboard as she retched violently.

The System’s panel on the upper right side of his vision was a healthy green color. There was not even a diagnosis.

If this had happened in the past, Zheng Ren would have suspected that the System was currently undergoing a power outage, short-circuiting, or something unexpected had happened.

However, Zheng Ren chose to stand by the System’s diagnosis this time around.

The patient was very healthy, but what was with the vomiting?

He glanced at the test sheet. The urine early pregnancy test was a weak positive, indicating that the patient was in the early stages of pregnancy.

There were no abnormalities in the various tests and laboratory indicators. She seemed as healthy as one could be.

The ultrasound was not done in a negative manner. Instead, it was done in the abdomen.

The report indicated that there were no signs of a fertilized egg in the pelvic cavity or the uterus. In other words, the patient was not pregnant.

Zheng Ren held the test sheet in his hand as he pondered about this. A woman who was not even in her fifties quietly tugged at Zheng Ren’s white coat and said in a low voice, “Doctor, let’s talk outside.”

“You’re…” Zheng Ren asked in a low voice as he walked out of the emergency room with the female family member.

When Zheng Ren saw the ultrasound report, he already had his own a.s.sumptions. When he saw the look on the family member’s face, he became even more certain of his diagnosis.

The two of them walked out of the emergency room. The woman sighed first before saying, “Doctor, I’m her mother. My daughter is definitely not pregnant. I’m sure of this.”

“Huh?” Zheng Ren Meng ran recalled the mother and daughter who refused to conduct a urine test for early pregnancy not long ago.

“She said she’s pregnant, but I didn’t believe her. I did my own check and it isn’t broken yet,” the patient’s mother said reluctantly.
