Chapter 284 - THE SICK FRAT RITUAL (2/2)

Before Aiden could ask for more questions, Clark already draped his arm over Aiden's shoulder and began talking about what happened on their work that day.

Aiden can definitely sense that Clark was purposely trying to change the topic but he did not understand why.

There was a tiny voice in the back of his head screaming at him and was trying to warn him that something was terribly wrong but Aiden did not listen.

Instead, Aiden let Clark take him to the fraternity house.

When they got to the fraternity house, it was pretty much what he expected.

There were a lot of toilet papers scattered in the area. What a mess!

There is also shaving foam and underage drinking.

Heavy dance music also blared out of the house and Aiden could see people dancing inside as the colorful lights go on and off.

There were also a few people that he recognized from their neighborhood, but everyone else was a stranger.

Aiden and his workmates walked as a group into the fraternity house where they were greeted by one of the fraternity initiates.

The other party broke out into a wide smile when he saw Aiden and Clark together.

”Boss Jay has everything ready.”

Boss Jay again...

Just who exactly he is??

”Look Aiden, whatever happens, I want you to know that it was never personal”

Clark said as he raised both of his hands in the air as if he was trying to say that he meant him no harm and he was out of it.

”What???”

Aiden asked in confusion.

But before he could process what exactly was happening, he suddenly felt hands on him dragging him backward out of the house!

Several frat boys had ambushed him from behind and were now pulling him out of the fraternity house onto the lawn

Outside in the lawn, a large group of people had begun to gather holding their red cups of alcohol

”Behold!!!!”

A voiced boomed!

”Our virgin offering to the Queen of Darkness!!!”

”What the heck??!!”

Aiden blurted out as soon as he understood what was happening.

His eyes went on big circles as he panicked and tried to pull away from his restrictions.

The people around him were clapping and cheering, including Clark and his other workmates.

”I can't believe I had been set up! Darn it!!!!”

Aiden gnashed his teeth as he thought how dumb he was to agree to come with them in the first place.

He should have been busy typing right now grinding chapters for his next updates.

His readers must have been cursing him at the top of their lungs for being on hiatus for quite some time now.

But here he was, getting himself involved in some sick frat ritual

There was this darn urban legend that the frat boys used to carry out every year to appease the make-believe 'Queen of Darkness'.

Each year, the fraternity will dupe some nerd into dressing up like a groom and force him to stand under a Hanging Man's tree in the town graveyard.

Nothing ever happened to the poor victims of this fraternity ritual before. They will just usually stand under the tree until midnight then walked home, safe and sound.
