”I guess we can give it a rest now. Since we can no longer get any information in the books, then let us just head back to our dorm.”

Her agenda for today ended earlier than she expected. So for the meantime, she was planning to use the remaining of her time into organizing her thoughts

Left with no other things to do, Mu Lingxi decided to head back at their dorm so she could give herself a break.

Mu Lingxi climbs to her bed as soon as she arrived at their dorm.

The exhaustion building up on her body melted the moment her back hit the soft mattress of her bed.

Since she doesn't have any other plans for today, Mu Lingxi used this spare time instead to ponder over everything that happened to her recently.

There is simply a lot of things that was going on her life lately.

And the number of things that need to be considered or taken care of was too many to mention to the point that she no longer knew where she should start.

She tried to organize her thoughts as she stared at the white ceiling above her. But just like that bare ceiling, her brain is empty as well.

”Ahhhhrrrggg! What should I do now???”

It was during the time like this that Mu Lingxi realized that her life is becoming a lot messier than ever.

This feeling is becoming stronger the more she unfolds facts about herself.

Instead of finding clarity and getting the answer that she was looking for, she will always end up getting herself more tangled up with all the secrets that she uncovers.

She can't help but reflect and thought to herself if the story of her life was slowly turning from magical realism into mysteries and conspiracies.

More and more secrets and revelations were starting to come one after another.

And as if her life is not complicated enough by itself, she found out that those secrets that they were slowly uncovering are actually related to her.

Not just the old Mu Lingxi that originally belong to this magical world. But also even her own self that transmigrated over to this world

While the master and cat duo was busy extracting each and every bit of their brain cells to come up with a solution on their recent impasse, the door to their dorm opened.

It was Fan Lei who stepped in from that open door. It seemed that he was already done with his plan today, just like Mu Lingxi.

When Fan Lei saw that Su yan (Mu Lingxi) was already around, he was initially startled.

He did not expect to see his friend to be back this early. He thought that he would be alone.

”Are you done with your plans for today? Or you haven't started dealing with it yet???”
