Chapter 271 - CURING LUNA (1/2)

When they reached the other end of the corridor, it was Mu Lingxi who knocked at the door in Schoolmaster Yin's office.

'Knock. Knock. Knock.'

”Come in..”

The familiar warm voice of Schoolmaster Yin sounded from the inside.

When they came in, Schoolmaster Yin welcomed them with a heartwarming smile.

”You guys were earlier than I expected. Where are the others?”

Schoolmaster Yin asked when he saw that there were only two of them. He was expecting to meet all six of them, this morning.

That is why when he only saw two warlocks visiting him, he can't help but ask.

”It's only us. The others were still sound asleep.”

Mu Lingxi replied.

”Ohh.. okay. Anyways, where is the magical beast?”

Schoolmaster Yin no longer beat around the bush, just like how he usually was.

When Long Yue heard the queue, he immediately took out the walnut-sized space treasure where he used to put Luna and went inside it.

Then after a couple of seconds, he came out again and this time he had a white cat in his embrace. The white cat was sleeping soundly in Long Yue's arms.

If there is some progress worth noting about Luna's recovery, that would be on her fur.

When Schoolmaster Yin last saw the little cat, some of her white furs already turned into gray patches. It was all because of the lingering aura of the undead that settled in her body.

But right now, Luna looks no different from a normal sleeping cat. The gray patches that used to riddled her beautiful white fur were now nowhere to be seen.

This was all thanks to Long Yue's unreserved effort to take good care of his magical beast. As well as Schoolmaster Yin's wise idea of using incense sticks that were made from the Devil Smile Flower.

Long Yue never fails to light those incense sticks inside the folded space. He was doing it on a regular basis. In fact, he was doing it much often than he eats.

That is why the credit in Luna's recent recovery all goes to Long Yue's effort.

”I would have to ask you to leave the beast in my care for the meantime. I can't wake her up right away. But I promise that it will be soon.

Schoolmaster Yin told him about his arrangement. Now, it was about time for Long Yue if he would like to go according to that arrangement.

Although Long Yue was reluctant to part wit Luna, he knew that it would be the best for her. So with a heavy heart, he nodded his head and hand his cat to Schoolmaster Yin.

”Don't worry, I will going to took good care of her on your behalf.”

”Of course, I trust that  you will.”

Long Yue replied as he forced a smile on his face. But it did a measly job to hide the sadness in his eyes.

Knowing that they don't have any business to do at Schoolmaster Yin's office anymore, Mu Lingxi excused themselves and bit their goodbye.

After all, Schoolmaster Yi is not a free man. he has a lot of things that he needs to deal with. So they did not wish to impose any further on him and waste any more of his precious time.

As soon as they stepped out of Schoolmaster Yin's office, sadness clouded in Long Yue's feature.

”It's going to be okay, Long Yue. Just look at the bright side. You will going to see Luna again, fully unconscious in the near future.”

Mu Lingxi said as she gave her friend another pat on his shoulder.

Long Yue gave her a smile in return.

When they went back to the boy's dormitory, they saw that their other dormmates were all wide awake now.

”Where did you guys go without us???”

”Right. When we wake up, you two were no longer to be seen.”
