Just like Mu Lingxi's group, the Silver Arrows were also after the treasure hidden within the sanguine tundra.

They were from an independent sect that also seeks to further their horizon in the study of soul arts.

It was more than a month ago when their sect leader specifically assigned them a special task of looking for the news concerning the forbidden practice of necromancy.

They had been on a constant move since then and it was more than a month already. But up until now, they barely had any progress at all

Especially since it was just lately when they got a bit of information about the whereabouts of the missing apprentice necromancer.

Only to find out that someone was one step ahead of them.

As such, when they caught wind on some inside news that a newly discovered territory of Ancient Domains of Mysteries was very much likely to hold some secrets about necromancers, they immediately made their way straight to this place.

In fact, they were not sure what exactly is that secret or what kind of treasure was hidden in the place.

They simply knew nothing next to what they were supposed to look for at the place since they left in a hurry.

But who would have thought that just like before, someone will be a step ahead of them this time around?

As such, as soon as they saw that a group of warlocks was about to leave the place they immediately sounded them out.

”We don't care who's order you are taking with. Leave the treasure to us or be prepared to die.”

The leader said without batting an eye.

From the way she said it, it seemed that they really won't mind spilling some blood just to acquire what they wanted.

They were all towering as well, considering the fact that each of them was also mounting a beautiful dapple grey horse.

One of the sorceresses that have an auburn hair noticed Janus.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a black little cat that was sitting quietly beside the lanky looking warlock.

To her surprise, she had a sudden weird feeling that the black cat was actually smiling at her!

”Hey look at that weird black cat over there, it is smiling at me!!!!”

The sorceress with an auburn hair told the other sorceress that was riding next to her.

”You need to have your eyes check, darling. You are starting to see things now. Can a cat even smile???”

”But I swear to Lilith's name, I really saw it smiling at me just a while ago!”

The sorceress with an auburn hair tried to explain herself but the other sorceress just smiled at her.

”It must have been tiring for you, these past few days. Do you think so? Have some rest later on. You need that, okay?”

”You think so???”
