The accommodation that was provided to each of them was really top-notch. Well, that was to be expected since they are staying within the grounds of the royal palace.

Every single part of the manor screamed of extravagance. Even the casual flower pots that were used to decorate the pavement of each pathway were nothing short if impressive.

The landscape of the place is also carefully taken into consideration. To calm the mind of those who reside on it.

To produce such an effect, the small zen garden at the corner of the manor is also well taken care of. This can be seen if one was to rest and overlook the place at the gazebo accessible at the center of the garden.

The artful  arrangements of rocks, water features, moss, pruned trees and bushes, and sand that is raked to represent ripples in water provides the place a serene and peaceful vibe

But despite the comfortable lodging that she had, Mu Lingxi still prefers her bunk bed back at their campus dormitory.

She finds that place more cozy than this room that she was currently resting at. The large space around her only makes her feel suffocated instead.

To avoid herself from getting bored to death, Mu Lingxi went out of her room. She took a casual walk around the place, using the memory that she had when she last visited the palace.

After passing several corridors, Mu Lingxi arrived at the hall where the visitors during the palace banquet in Long Yue's name day were gathered before.

Looking around her, she saw the small pond with a small bridge the pass over it. This is the same pond where Mi Rijen fell.

Mi Rijen was one of Mu Yanxiao's lackey that dares to bully her before. Only to end up being turned into a laughing stock after having a dive with the Koi fishes.

”Oh... that is too silly of me back then. why did I even bother talking to them that day? I should have just left them as soon as I felt that they were up to no good. I should not have wase my time to their nonsense bickering..”

Since Mu Lingxi is not yet too familiar with the place, she just went on the places that she previously have been.

Just like on the hillside. A little isolated place among the palace grounds, where she and Long Yue first met.

Or rather had their first fight. This is where they both came tumbling down to the foot of the hill. All the hair tugging as well as the head-butting incident happened at this very same place.

Mu Lingxi smiled as she recalled those silly things that she had done when she was just green and unfamiliar to this world.

She even dare hit a prince! What a bold lady she was.

But thinking about it, Mu Lingxi believed that even if it is in the present, she still will not think twice about hitting Long Yue. If he deserved to be hit, even if he were a prince she will still give him a good beating.

Staying with Long Fuzi ad Long Yue in the same room for almost have a year made her forget that they were actually of noble standings.

Their casual attitude when they were in the Magus Aceniam as well as how they use to interact with their friends is what makes Mu Lingxi feel that way.

The heat from the sun no longer burned her skin. It was just perfect to warm her body as the night will soon about to come.

Since that is the case, Mu Lingxi felt that this is the best time to rest under the shade of a tree.  So she made her way up to the top of the hill. Since she recalled seeing a peach tree planted on its top before.

But when she reached the very top of the hill, she saw someone lying amidst the sea of daffodil flowers.

The man was enjoying the shade of the pink peach tree in full bloom as he leisurely observed the shape-shifting clouds.

When the other party sense that he was not alone, it instantly sat up. But when he saw that it was Su Yan (Mu Lingxi) that arrived, the tense muscles that started to build-up in his body due to his wariness, started to relax.

”Hi, Su Yan. How did you know this place???”

Long Yue asked with a big smile. He patted the space beside him and invited his good friend to join him as he observed the clouds.

”Come, join me. This is my secret sanctuary. I never share it with anyone before, but today I will share it would you. Since we are brothers.”

Mu Lingxi's initial plan in the first place is to enjoy the perfect atmosphere and rest for a bit under the shade of the peach tree. So she no longer stands on ceremony and accepted Long Yue's offer right away.

She sat beside him and as expected, the top of the hill oversees the entire palace yard.

The majestic color of red, gold and white make the palace stands out among the other buildings that stood nearby.

Copying Long Yue, Mu Lingxi also lies on her back and rested her body among the sea of daffodils. This allows her to see the blue sky above her.
