Mu Lingxi can help but feel some sense of envy towards Long Yue. While she was worried about how she would be able to survive in this other world;
How she could go on with her cross-dressing without getting caught. Or as to how long she could continue leaving in the same roof with five young men without her disguise being exposed.
In fact, even the thought of how she could manage her finances for her daily expenditures was enough to give her trouble every day.
Not to mention that she also needs to find a way on how she could earn more magic stones to fund her expenses.
While she was basically worrying herself about many other things to make do as to live in this new lease of life bestowed to her.
Another individual beside her was troubling himself as to how he could get his friend to stay at his side. So they could always hang out together.
And from the looks of it, it seemed that he was taking the problem at heart. To the point that he was seeing it as a big crisis that needs to be taken care of as soon as possible.
They were around the same age but their problems were two worlds apart

”How I wish I can also live a carefree life like him. Where all I have to worry about is how I can keep enjoying my life and hang out with my friends.”
The gap between the rich and poor is so wide. So wide that even if one were to use up every single drop of water in the pacific ocean to fill up space between them it won't suffice to fill the gap.
Since he already gets what he wanted, Long Yue took his leave allowing the master and cat duo to finally have the time for themselves.
When Long Yue was no longer around, Janus suddenly recalled something.
”MEOW”
[Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I asked around with my friends to look for any job opening within Majika. I just got news from them this morning. Currently, there is an opening for a part-time job.]
Janus was supposed to share this news with Mu Lingxi early this morning but the relentless nagging of Long Yue did not allow him to do so.
He almost forgot about it.
”Oh, that's great! What would be the job description then?”
”MEOW”
[It is not that hard. You just have to do some menial stuff like refilling arrows and sharpening daggers.]
”Huh???? Will I be part of some maintenance team in that job?”
”MEOW”
[Sort of. You will be working in some kind of Sports Complex. Specifically in a shooting range area that offers archery, darts, and the like.”
”Oh... It sounds fun. There is such a kind of place here?”
”MEOW”
[Yes of course. If there is no such place like that here, where do you think Yun Xue and Chan Gu will be practicing their skills???]
”Err... you got a point there..”
It seemed that a big reason why many of the students of Magus Academia were frequenting in Majika is not just because they wanted to unwind and hang out with their friends there.
