”Aye, Long Yue! There you are??? So how was your meeting with Teacher Shen?”

Mu Lingxi greeted Long Yue as soon as the other party step inside the room. Long Yue was back to his carefree self as soon as he went back to their dorm.

From the current looks of it, others will think that he was someone who won't be affected in the least, by this kind of trivial thing.

”Well, as expected she gave me an earful..”

Long Yue shrugged his shoulder as he said that. It was as if being scolded did not bother him at all and being sent in detention is far beyond his concern.

”Of course, you cannot expect Teacher Shen to be delighted and congratulate you after what you have done back there.”

Fan Lei butted in. He too finds the situation a little bit reckless of Long Yue.

If not because of his negligence, they should have been given a higher chance of success rate in concocting the Elixir of Wolfs Bane with ease.

But he knew that it was not Long Yue's intention to cause that much trouble in the first place. So he refrains himself from saying much. Lest he ends up hurting his friend's feelings in the process of doing so.

Janus chirped in as he gave his master a side glance. Upon hearing his cat's observation, Mu Lingxi's face twitched as she glared to Janus' direction.

”Stop spouting nonsense silly cat.”

”By the way, has anyone of you know where Chan Gu was?”

Long Fuzi asked all of a sudden when he noticed that someone was missing in their squad.

”He went back to our room earlier than any of us here but he also left in a hurry as soon as we arrived. From what I can see I think that he might be on his way meeting someone”

Yun Xue answered Long Fuzi's question. He also recently finds that Chan Gu was acting a little bit weird especially this morning.

Their friend, Chan Gu was usually a jolly and an all-smile person. In fact, if one could think of something very unique about Chan Gu's personality is that he was a man with a dog smile face.

But today, there seems to be something different on his smile. It was like he was excited about something. For what reason it was, they have no idea.

”I did not meet him on my way here, though.”

”Just let him be. Let us mind our own business. We still have something to accomplish. Has anyone of you done in concocting the Elixir of Wolfs Bane?”

Long Yue asked to change the topic. His friends headed back to their room earlier than he was.

Initially, he was expecting to see his friends in the middle of elixir making but when he arrived they were all sitting on their bed doing nothing in particular.

”I am done with mine. I can help you later if you want...”

Mu Lingxi offered her help as easy as that. Sharing the same room with these guys for quite some time now, Mu Lingxi was already well aware of each of her friend's shortcomings.

For Long Yue, she knew well enough how hard he was struggling in Elixir Making so she sees to it that she was always available to lend help to this friend of hers whenever needed.

Besides, it was not like she was doing it for nothing. The Long Brothers had already given her an ample amount of magic stones before.
