The snow dragon did not give the group much time to ponder on their discovery. But as confused as they were, they know that if they won't provide the snow dragon an explanation, they might not know how the will die soon.

Long Yue said, not forgetting to compliment the tiny creature before them. Hoping that by doing this, they can win themselves a bit of goodwill at the last moment.

To think that they had been a few days late.

They initially don't have much hope in finding the old hermit. In fact. they were just solely banking on their luck.

But now that their goal just seems to be a step away from them, only to learn that they still failed it at the last juncture is quite depressing, to say the least.
