173 BIG FOOT THE GUIDE (1/2)

When morning came, the group resume their journey. They earnestly gave their regards to Grandma Lu and her grandchild Mayan for letting them stay for the night

The mist grew thicker as they moved beyond the village. This hinders the group to see what lies ahead of them from a few meters

Out of the corner of their eyes, they saw something moving. It had a bulky figure and it was approaching them very slowly.

Their bodies tensed up as they prepared to face the unknown existence.

”Waiiiitt!!!!! I know him... Don't hurt him...”

Mu Lingxi said when she saw who was coming.

It was Mayan's pet. The abominable snowman, Big Foot. They agreed to meet once they enter the Cloud Mist Ridge.

Mu Lingxi introduced the shy-type Big Foot, to the rest of the group.

When they saw how timid and shy  Big Foot was acting, they kinda find weird.

His action does not match his bulky appearance.

Due to his large physique, as soon as one sets sight on him, they will immediately connote it to something ferocious and destructive.

Yet the abominable snowman before them was far from it. From how he acts, it was even doubted if he could hurt a fly.

But despite its shy attitude, Big Foot was quite a capable guide. He was able to circumvent the terrain with ease. Mu LIngxi and the rest of the group who was flowing behind him was saved from a lot of troubles.

The icy terrain was not an easy trail to venture to begin with. But with Big Foot leading the group, they were able to travel and avoid getting into difficult situations.

”Mu Lingxi, where do you think he was planning to take us???”

Yun Xue can't help but asked when he noticed that they had traveled some quite distance already.

”Mayan told him to take us to the place where the old hermit was probably staying.”

Mayan did not know that the abominable snowman, Big Foot, that she was treating like a pet was actually acquainted with the old hermit.

It was precisely for this reason, that the travelers and old residents of Cloud Mist Ridge were always haunting this beast in hopes of finding the old hermit's whereabouts.

As such it was a good thing that Mu Lingxi and her pet Janus befriended Mayan. Gaining the goodwill of the only person that could recommend them to the best guide.

Apparently, the old hermit also chooses to reside near the nest of the legendary snow dragon.
