169 THESTRALS (1/2)
The time came for Mu Lingxi's group to depart and head to Cloud Mist Ridge. This time, they were no longer as green as they were before.
Their past experience in their mission in the land of Echurid gave them a better idea about what kind of dangers they could possibly meet outside of their schoolyard.
The Cloud Mist Ridge is one of the rare places that are not accessible through simple means like the teleportation portals. Those who wish to venture the place will have to travel it on foot, though not literally on foot.
Basically, what it means is that Mu Lingxi and her friends have to painstakingly endure traveling back and forth to Cloud Mist Ridge without relying on any teleportation portals for easy access.
As the group already made their preparation for this journey, a carriage was already lying in wait for them as soon as they went out of the school.
The carriage looks the same as what Mu Lingxi used to ride on their clan when they attend the banquet back the palace, during Long Yue's name day.
But what makes the carriage appears to be out of ordinary, is the beast that supposed to pull the carriage.
The beast had a skeletal structure about the size of a horse, with a reptilian hide, wide eyes, and leathery black wings. It seems to belong to the breed of winged horses.
”Yun Xue, how do you intend to have us travel with that? How is it supposed to move without a beast pulling it???”Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please clickfor visiting.
Long Fuzi asked in confusion. All he could see was an empty carriage, so how are they supposed to move with a carriage without a coachman and a beast to pull it???
Are they going to personally drag that out by themselves???
”What do you mean Long Fuzi??? Can't you see it???”
Mu Lingxi asked in confusion. Could it be possible for Long Fuzi not to see these big creatures? All in all, there were for of them!
The group decided to depart at night time. As such, the moon was already hanging above the sky when they went out of the school.
Plus, there was also a huge tree casting its shadow over the area where the carriage was parked.
