152 THE WINKING PORTRAI (1/2)
So when Teacher Nana saw some familiar names from her class she was delighted. It is gladdening to know that there were still students from her class that decided not to slack off even though it was the rest day.
Thus when she saw Long Yue who just came from completing a mission, she already had a good impression towards the young lad.
In Teacher Nana's eyes, Long Yue's slightly unkempt appearance bore testimony to his diligence.
He just came in from a mission, but instead of taking his rest first, which he highly deserved, he still decided to run straight to Schoolmaster Yin to report his findings.
This made the goodwill she felt about the young lad before him shooting furiously up the meter. It is also the same reason why she offered him her help without any hesitation.
It was a good thing that Long Yue is at the right timing and he met Teacher Nana. If it was any other teacher, they might need ended up waiting for a few more hours before their request will be accommodated.
After a few moments, Long Yue and the rest of his friends can be seen walking at one of the school building that they have never entered before.
Teacher Nana was walking ahead of them while the group was following closely behind her. She was leading the way with a smile.
After leaving the Mission Tower, they walk for some time before a staircase came into view.
This staircase was extremely bizarre. There was nothing above or below supporting it and it simply floated off the ground, ascending straight into the sky. As if leading to a heavenly place of some sort.
”What's this?”
Yun Xue asked curiously.
The group could feel a strong fluctuation of magic coming from the staircase. There was no doubt that there were many incantations inscribed in each step of the staircase and its surroundings in order to allow them to stay afloat
”This is the STEPS OF WILL. This staircase will lead you to the person you were looking for. Provided that he was within the school premises and he left a sliver of his will within the stair.”
