The group cast the spell over themselves one after another. Flashes of light blinded the little mermaid for a bit.

Mu Lingxi was considerate enough to stow her cat, Janus, back to her storage ring for the meantime. She know that one of Janus's greatest fear is water.

”We're ready...”

”Good! Come with me...”

After confirming that everything was good to go, Arva dived into the water and the group followed her lead. The water splashes as they dived into it one by one.

Half an hour later, the group experienced the thrill that only the deep water could bring. So far down in the water, the sunlight is a soft diffuse glow.

Those once golden rays from above are only blue in this water and the deeper they swim, the less light can penetrate. The rocks are now silhouettes in the dim.

Some feet beneath the surface, they saw the underwater life. Everything was cast blue by the filtered light. The place was festooned by an entrancing panorama.

A rocky wall stood up like a sky scrapper. While underwater weeds, kelp, anemones, and corals rose like a Gothic architecture.

With the increasing pressure, Mu Lingxi began to feel like the water is becoming thicker, like soup. She glanced upward to the surface and her heart rate rises.

”I've never been this deep before. ”

She thought to herself. But she knows that there is no going back now. The only way for her is to move forward and dive deeper.

Finally, they reached the place. Among the dim silhouettes of one of the rocky walls that stood tall and straight, there was a fissure that looks like a cave.

They swam closer to it, and there they saw something that resembles a huge mirror barring its entrance.

Arva dove straight to the mirror without any hesitation. When the group thought that Arva will collide in the mirror, her body passes right through it.

The group knew that they don't have a choice but to follow her so after the initial hesitation, they decided to head there as well.

As soon as they barge in the mirror, they went pass it and they immediately felt cold. The coldness permeated deep into their skin down to their bone and it makes them shudder in their back.
