While the other prophecy states that an Antediluvian cat will bring salvation and peace between the creatures of light and darkness.

The priests got frightened when they learned about the two prophecies. Since even the oak tree tribe cannot fathom the oracle that was delivered to them, the priests made their own choice.

They reckoned that both prophecies originated with the same race, the Antediluvian cat, and so to prevent it from happening, they should offer a life of an Antediluvian cat to appease the gods and help them to stop the bad thing from happening in the future.

The next day, they sneaked to the residence of a deity and stole its pet cat. They put the poor cat inside a sack and throw it to a river to let it drown.

When the deity learned about the sudden disappearance of her beloved Antediluvian cat, it went on rampage and melancholia.

To make the people feel her wrath and revenge, she cried heavily and let her tears to flood the world.

The deity intends to commit suicide and follow her cat in the afterlife, but also she wants to bring the doom of those who wronged them.

Recovering from his shock and flashback, the talking oak tree muttered to himself.

”Did I just really saw an Antediluvian cat?! But this should not be happening, they should have been gone for a long time now after that flood. How??? Why???”

The talking oak tree got on his monologue. He still could not believe it, even though he had already seen it by himself. But more to that, he doesn't want to believe it either.

Those priests had gone on great lengths as to offend a deity nearly causing the early demise of all creations. Even his brethren oak trees ended up sacrificing themselves just preserved more lives.

Yet despite all those things that happen, the prophecy was still bound to come true as there is a surviving Antediluvian cat all this time.

Little did they know that everything that happened is part of the great plan and it will eventually lead to the fruition of the prophecy.

But of which prophecy and which Antediluvian cat it was pertaining to, that was still unsure.
