86 PASSING THE EXAM WITH FLYING COLORS (2/2)

Mu Lingxi said sheepishly while the examiner had its face twitching upon seeing this bizarre phenomenon.

He had been monitoring the entrance examination of Magus Academia for more than a decade now and this was his first time encountering this. WEIRD!

”Is it possible that the rainbow moonstone feels bored all of a sudden that is why it decided to show off some of its colors today???”

”MEOW”

[Woah! Do you see that little lass?? You really got talent! You were able to turn the stone into a disco light!]

[I think it's not a bad idea to procure some of that rainbow moonstones in the future, so we can have our own portable disco light.]

”Have anyone told you before that you really got a distorted thought about life at some aspect???”

”MEOW”

[Nah!! This is what you called...creative and innovative.]

Janus reckoned proudly with his whiskers moving up and down.

”KACHA!”

Lines after lines started to appear on the crystal-like stone and with one last crack...

”BOOM!!!!”

The rainbow moonstone shattered into pieces.

Mu Lingxi's body went stiff due to fright and shock but the test administrator was quick at his reflexes as he immediately created a protected barrier to avoid the flying broken shards of the rainbow moonstone.

”This..... is it considered a pass?”

As stifled as he was inside, he cannot bring himself blaming the young man for what happened. This rainbow moonstone was usually sturdy and resilient. Why did it shatter all of a sudden in this untimely manner, during the entrance examination?

The test administrator passes Mu Lingxi her dorm key and a red emblem. He decided to consider her result as 'red' for the meantime until everything is clear. He will have to report this to the schoolmaster.

With that, Mu Lingxi managed to successfully pass the entrance examination with flying colors, literally.
