Mu Lingxi was walking listlessly on the edge of the ship as if she was hypnotized while a black panther was trailing after her. Biting his dress to hinder her to advance forward.

Janus was on his wits' end! He was losing idea on how he will snap Mu Lingxi out of her trance. Without any idea of what he was going to do, he let go of Mu Lingxi's dress and issued a loud roar instead.

”MWAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!”

His roar was so imposing that the alluring voices of the mermaids were swallowed for a second. This in return helps Mu Lingxi and the other victims in the ship regain their senses.

Sadly, it was too late for the others as some of the victims were already seconds late and they already jump to the water.

Mu Lingxi saw the passengers of the ship jump on the water on their own accord as they swim away from the ship. Heading to one direction. They were swimming as fast as they could as if their life depended on it.

When she looked to where they were heading, she saw a bunch of humanoid creatures sitting on a rocky shore that appears to be in the middle of water not too far away.

Their pale white skin seems to be glowing in the dark and their long green hair cascaded on their naked body. They have an upper half body of a human and tail of a fish on the lower part.

They were laughing maniacally as they looked at their victims swimming towards them.

When a man reaches within the rocky shore, one of the mermaids grabs him and bite at his neck!!!!

The scene was so gruesome. The beautiful face of the mermaid becomes covered by blood as it spurted out from the man's neck.

The blood was a great contrast to her pale white skin, dying the mermaid's skin that is white as snow red as strawberries in the summer night.
