73 MOMENT UNDER THE MOON (2/2)

”Sswswswswswswswswswswsws... Lunaaaaaaa.. Yoooohoooo.. Where are you??? Time to sleep now.”

As if a pail of ice, cold water was directly thrown over Janus, his body stiffens. While Luna, on the other hand, jumps away instantly as if something inside her was ignited and she shoots away as fast as a rocket could be.

”There you are... I have been looking around since dusk. When I went back to our room, I did not see you and so I was worried. Don't you know that it's not as safe as it looks like here? we just have been attacked by harpies this morning. Who knows if they have not yet had their fill and decided to come back???!!”

As soon as Prince Long Yue spotted her cute little white cat, Luna, he instantly started his long litany.

After he said his piece, that is the only time that he notices that Luna was not alone.

”Oh? So you got a friend over here.”

As he said that, he carefully eyed the little black cat sitting straight as if he was a well-trained dog.

He observed the cat, and he cat shake the feeling that this black cat resembles the same cat own by that unruly lady he met at the palace in his name day.

Feeling the gaze directed to him by Prince Long Yue, Janus tried his best to appear cute and docile. He even put an effort into making his eyes dilated.

He stared back at Prince Long Yue with his big rounded eyes with a hint of tear looking like a terrified cat.

Being an animal lover in nature, Prince Long Yue cannot continue to harden his heart especially if the cat was acting so cute in front of him.

He patted its fur head and said,

”It's nice that Luna got a friend here. I hope that you guys will get along well.”

”MEOW”

[Sure will.]

Janus secretly smirked as he said that, well technically no one other than Mu Lingxi can understand his meowing so all that Prince Long Yue can hear was ”MEOW”.
