Mu Lingxi stirred on her bed as she extended her arms hidden beneath the soft layer of her blanket. She grab her tactful cat and pull it under the sheets as she wrestled it.
”J-A-N-U-Ssssssss.... It's so embarrassing! What to do?!!”

Janus try hard to wriggle his way away from Mu Lingxi's arms.
When the little black cat resurfaced from under the pile of blankets, its fur was ruffled.
He licked it back to place and gaze back at the blanket with eyes full of annoyance.

[Geez Lingxi! Quit that sullen act of yours, c'mon! It been a week since that happen... and besides it's not a crime to fart every now and then???!!]
”Yah, have you tried farting in front of Luna???”

Out of the blue, a knocked followed by Yanyan soft voice interrupted the squabbling master and cat duo.
”Young miss, clan head would like to meet you this instant”
”Uhrrrggg... Yanyan, tell grandpa I'm not feeling well”
and to even spice up her drama, Mu Lingxi did not forget to do some dry cough loud enough for Yanyan to hear.
Yanyan was torn between following the order of their clan head or following what her young miss just said.
But she finally made her mind, she new well enough that if she fail to bring Mu Lingxi back, Mu Ruochen will personally came here to fetch her young miss.
