21 THE ENCOUNTER (1/2)

Long Fuzi landed softly on the ground a few meters away from the tree. A few seconds later, the tree got blasted after the wild boar throw its fire ball.

He gently put Mu Lingxi down on the ground.

”Stay here,..” he said as he turned his back away from Lingxi

”Hold on!” Mu Lingxi grab his hand when he saw that the young man was planning to battle the beast head on.

Before she knew it she was already holding the young man on his hand, she also don't know what came to her mind and why did she stop him just now.

”T-te-TAKE Care...” she said stammering. She abruptly let go of his hand as if the sudden touch burn her.

Long Fuzi for the first time realized that the girl was a beauty. He fail to notice it right away since she was covered with dirt and she was slightly hidden among the tree leaves. But now that the girl was close enough, he saw how long and curly her eyelashes was. Even the eyes that used to look at him was mesmerizing. It was a big hazel brown eyes of a doll.

Long Fuzi smiled in return as he nodded and proceeded on going back on the place where the wild boar was currently running amok.

Experiencing the near death situation just a while ago, the wild boar became more aggressive. It charged fiercely towards Long Fuzi when it saw its familiar silhouette.

”RAWWWWWRRRRR” another growl came from the beast but this time, the sound carried some overwhelming power. The sound wave pushes Long Fuzi away. This single clash injured Long Fuzi already, when the sound wave reached him, his seven orifices started to bled.

Back on the banquet,...

Yanyan was actually looking for Mu Lingxi when Janus found her.

When Yanyan saw Janus, she wanted to cry already.

She was too nervous when she realized that Mu Lingxi was nowhere to be found after she cause a commotion on the pond.

When she arrived at the pond, she saw a wailing girl who was being comforted by Mu Yanxiao. Base from what she heard from the people around, the unruly young miss of the Mu Clan is the one behind this.

But when she asked around, no one could tell her where exactly her young miss went since they were all too focus on the girl who fell on the pond.

Countless scenario and what if's flooded Yanyan's thought.

”What if young miss got into another trouble? What if someone asked the palace guards to take her away. What if something unpleasant happen to her young miss??!”
