”I'm going down to cook.”

Lin Ting packed his things first and directly moved them downstairs. Jin Se said that he could take them down himself, so he busied himself cooking.

With half a bag of rice left in the cupboard, Lin Ting threw all of them into the pot and poured some water inside. She then went to look for the newspapers that had been in the room for the past two days.
