This was the first time that Jin Se had talked about family matters. He had not been home for four or five years, and did not write to his parents, because he was afraid of implicating them, an underground worker was not an easy job. Doctor Gao could not be so selfish.

”Where is your family in the north?” Jin Se wiped his sweat and suddenly said something else.

”Very north.”

”It has been a long time.” Doctor Gao threw away the cotton swabs in his hands and said, ”I was previously staying in Europe and studied abroad for a while. After that, when I returned back to my country, the hospital was very busy, so I did not have the chance to return.”

”We should go back to take a look. We can't stay here forever.” Jin Se felt that this was an excuse, and she was a little dissatisfied.

When Qi Yue arrived at the dining hall, Mrs. Xue was already wearing a jujube red banner robe and sitting down. Xiao Muzhi stood at the side and waited on him, from afar, Mrs. Xue saw that Qi Yue was dressed in a proper smoke gray suit, brown leather shoes, he had used oil on his head to comb his hair meticulously as he walked over.
