When her small hands touched his forehead, there was a faint citrus aroma in the air. Her hands were cool, making him feel very comfortable. He suddenly felt that if he ever fell sick, how great would it be if she were by his side taking care of him.

“You didn’t go to work today?”

“I requested a leave of absence.”

He was stunned as he looked at her gentle and soft gaze.

“I’ve inconvenienced you.”

“Why are you being so courteous? You’ve helped me a lot. Thanks to you, all those perverts don’t dare to hara.s.s me anymore. In addition, taking care of you while you’re sick is something I ought to do.” She winked and charmingly added, “Because you’re my husband.”

Her last phrase was meant to make him laugh since usually, he was the one who joked around. Every time he did something to her, whether it was good or bad, he would always say one phrase, “Because you are my wife!”

Now, she used this sentence to return the joke to him. After she finished speaking, she was still giggling.

She didn’t know how charming and adorable she was right now. Furthermore, this joke coming form her mouth was extremely provoking.

There was a faint flicker from Zhong Zhen Dong’s eyes. If it wasn’t for the fact that he had no strength because of being sick, he would’ve immediately pressed her onto the bed and fiercely kissed her.
