Christofer. of all people, was one of the worst demonic cultivators I have ever seen in my life to date. He was a man that held such grace, but his moral integrity betrayed it. He had no bottom line. He did any and everything just to get ahead. It mattered not how little it was. Christofer would do anything to win.

This isn't good. I was watching all along, but I did not recognize the other man who had appeared. If he was working for Christofer, then he learned about Arsene.

”I don't have time for this with my new responsibilities in The Court of Nox. Karsa, hear my command, as King and Sovereign of Alos, protector of the Celestial Palace, I Tain Wang command you, to head to the Holy City of Casia and deliver the news to Yu Lan. She will be responsible till I return.”

Gritting my teeth, I bowed my head reluctantly. It was not by choice but rather due to the deal many of us who reside upon Alos was forced to make with Tang Feng. Should the House of Tian need help, we are to come running and assist the best we can while living on Alos.

”I hear your command,” I uttered forcefully in understanding.

'See that it's done,' Tian Wang affirmed, ”Let's just hope I am wrong, and it's not Christofer. We don't need that bastard here. Not again.” He said, vanishing in a flash of light from my sight.

”I should have just stayed away,” I grunted to the breeze fluttering with the scent of ash. Teleporting myself back into the depts of my domain, I sighed, returning to my most natural self, before coiling around my tree humming with death.

”HEY! DUMB SNAKE, GET US THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!!” The one called Sig screamed with a pale expression.

”Eh? Did I send you all here too? I forgot. Those that are not gods don't usually enter my domain, you see.”

”is that an apology?” Arsene, who seemed rather fine, if not more colorful in the face, complained.

”Apology? Where did you get that Idea? Karsa doesn't apologize. You die, you die. Not my problem.”

Sighing a bit under my breath at all the work I had to do, I once again returned to my human form, ”We need to return to the holy city. I have a nexus gate in my lair; follow me. And don't touch anything. My memory is a bit lacking, so if you blow up, it's not my fault.

”Big Big Snake, don't be mean!” Shouted the little girl that smelt a bit of dragon. Watching the little dragon eyes begin to water, my heart melted at the cuteness she portrayed.

”Oh my god, you would be so cute in some soup! What's your name?”

Covering the little girl's mouth, Arsene glared, ”She is my meal back off!”

Snorting, I glared but did not comment. ”We will see who eats who.”

”Yeah, we need to leave! I don't wanna die in here!” Yu Jing screamed desperately, with a few strands of silver hair beginning to show. ”I have already lost two hundred years!”
